When Maynard initially announced that Don’t Shoot The Messenger was available on iTunes, I checked it out on my copy and it didn’t appear. Since some of my comrades in the US confirmed it was actually there, i presumed it was a US only thing. However, things have changed and I logged on today and noticed that it is now available to Australian customers. Tracks are $1.69 each, or the whole EP can be yours for $6.75. That’s a saving of one cent!
Tracks on the EP are:
- The Undertaker (Renholder mix)
- Trekka (Sean Bevean mix)
- Rev 22:20 (4:20 mix)
- Rev 22:20
there is nothing new on this – what a waste
Trekka isn’t new?
Trekka was released on the puscifer website a couple days ago
I consider something released a couple of days ago new. Don’t know about the rest of you…
I think he meant new as in unreleased in any form so far.
yeh i meant, something we haven’t heard before
Still, I think you’ll find that when this was actually released (last week) Trekka had only just become available. Just a bit of Australian Lag means we see it as nothing new.
This release is essentially so someone can have all the Puscifer releases. The only way to get The Undertaker and Rev22:20 previously was to either download illegally or purchase the entire Underworld soundtracks on iTunes (or rip from puscifer.com, but that’s illegal downloading).
This way, Maynard has control over them and the fans can get them without buying a soundtrack most of them will never listen to.
^Actually, if you subscribed to the Puscifer podcast, you would have gotten both Rev 22:20 and The Undertaker for free.

At 3:13 and a few other spots the lighting and the mowhawk make it look like maynard in ’06-’07. This the closest glance at what it would be like seeing this song on this 10k tour
With all this talk of Puscifer, I haven’t been to the site in a while and thought I’d check it out, but what’s up with puscifer.com it takes you to store.puscifer.com is that the only site?
At least it still streams the tracks.
