I very much doubt there’s any live content there at all, someones making up shit as usual to create hype. I’m expecting to be the usual cash cow TOOL releases in way of their past DVD releases….1-2 clips on one DVD (that’s like 300 meg out of 4.7 gig capacity), , in this case 1 new video clip which is 2 years overdue that will be made available on mininova.org and even youtube.com 3 days prior to official release. i agree it does sound kind of far fetched, but i can dream can’t I?
The hours of unlocking will be short lived once it hits my DVDROM hopefully….man i hope thats not just bs hype. The Pearl is that venue that is fully decked out to make a HD Video / Pro-Sound recording of every live show they put on if I remember correctly.. probably the appropriate venue to use as a decoy but…

Who knows? Personally the TA stuff has a better feel of legitimacy to it. I don’t really expect there to be any live stuff on the DVD

^It could just be a live video of Vicarious being performed, not the entire concert etc. But I don’t know, the whole Amazon review seems a little dodgy to me. I hope it is true though as it sounds pretty cool. I would love to see the stereoscopic/3D video stuff plus all the extras mentioned

Tool released an absolutely blinding album last year (as for a career decline; it sold 600,000 copies in first week), you should check it out. It’s completely unrelated but a few people from Toolarmy asked for the APC Runes font so I decided to post it up on rapidshare. Just put it in C:\Windows\Fonts or Fonts in the Control Panel (it’s the same folder) and you’re good to go.

That’s 600,000 people who didn’t bother to download the leak, and instead took the easy way out and bought the plastic. They’ll be more aware next time that’s IF they release another album….if its any indication that tool will go down the same old route expect ‘St. anger’ type sales.
I’m sure a lot of those 600,000 did download the leak; I did, listened to it constantly and then went out and bought the CD.
I dont think parting with £15 of your hard earned cash constitutes an ‘easy way out’.
and as I said, the quality of the album reflects on the tour sales, to which I think TOOL have absolutely no problem with.

Aha, I was one who didn’t download the leak. I was all excited and waited to be enthralled by the real thing, listening to Tool saying to not download the leak, and it was all a waste because 10,000 Days fucking blew. It was like a Maynard fart from the 80s in a jar. I agree with aenimano1 and just because he doesn’t like current Tool now doesn’t mean he can’t still be interested in recent news and post to things. I don’t think Tool is crap, I just think they’re stale fart now from Maynard’s anus in the 80s.
In fact, after listening to 10,000 Days all new music sounded like shit. It’s difficult to get pleasure in any music now for me. If 10,000 Days did one thing, it taught me to never buy albums and waste money. ALWAYS DOWNLOAD BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS FUCKING SHIT. The only pleasure I get from music now is screeching like a radiant rimp on a couple centimeter hole recording, man making music is great!

God… this debate was raging here over a year ago. I think we’ve past that, we know some people don’t like it, others (like me) do. Big deal, we’ve all heard all your complaints about it. Really, complain to people who care.
Is anyone even considering that Ronaldo Jones (the amazon reviewer) doesn’t exist? He’s only reviewed one thing on Amazon, Jones is a pretty common last name, and what a coincidence it happens to belong to the guitarist.
I don’t know, just raising questions. For my sake I’m hoping against hope that it’s legit. Ideally, it was Adam Jones posing as this Ronaldo guy letting the cat out of the bag.
But that’s a fucking long shot now isn’t it?
