Blair‘s December newsletter is up, and it’s quite possibly the most cryptic one yet. I can’t really make much sense of it, though it does suggest that something may be going on sale on the 17th of January, possibly a live DVD, though I’d say that’s somewhat unlikely. Could also be that there’s another tour happening, going on sale on that date, but I’ve heard no substantial rumours to confirm anything at this stage. Take a look for yourself…

most of the words in that newsletter are just regular words with letters randomly replaced – like ADTYUM THEATRE. so you could probably redo this newsletter with the correct spelling and possibly get a more insightful newsletter – hmm probably not worth the effort
I think you may be right. The other part of the puzzle seems to point to San Antonio (0-1Notnanas). Hopefully for fans in those places it’s true, especially the hard done by Missoulians.
I hope this also means that Tool aren’t quite as done with touring as Maynard suggested at their last show…

No particular reason except for:
1. I presume everyone knows where to go for the newsletters.
2. I read them at Toolarmy which I can’t really link to because their neither a full url nor will it work for non-TA members.

This is a really cool newsletter actually. It’s deep and reminds me of what I used to imagine Tool to be. If only Maynard wrote like this.

It would be cool if it wasn’t all bullshit, he does one of these cryptic boring messages every month and really what has it got us over the last few years. 1 album and a single released a year and a half later. He just likes to sit on his high horse fucking with people. He’s a dick!
As a Missoulian, I was insanely disappointed that the Missoula show was canceled last time around. Anyway, I hope Blair isn’t pulling us around like he always likes to do. I will cry.
