You may have noticed that the Fourtheye Theme has finally changed from the subdued whites and greys of the old to the hellish reds of the new. Hopefully you enjoy the new one more than the old. If you don’t, you can always change the theme by going to the Themes section on the left and selecting a different one. The old one is Fourtheye 06. You may also notice that you can edit your comments for a certain time after they are post. This should let you fix any typos or spur of the moment rants you think twice about
Feedback is appreciated as always!
I like the idea but I cannot read the text very easily on that background. Perhaps you could put a darker gradient inside the text areas that still features some basic transparency to make it easier to read.
the highlight on the comments makes it easy to read.. perhaps mod that to the home page.. bit random having to use the mouse to read though
I really don’t think it’s that hard to read to be honest, but you’re not the only one to say so, so I guess I’ll change it
That highlighting in the comments by the way indicates that you can click and edit it.
Im glad im not the only one, as I would think I was going blind. Any graphic designer would bitch slap you to death with this color scheme though, any that I know anyway 😀
Just like Garth from Wayne’s World, I fear change. I like the old theme as it was a lot easier to read the text. The new red-based colours scare me.
Just as I had gotten comfortable with the old theme it gets changed…
Well it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to 😉
WTF
I like it alot!
I really like the background picture and colour scheme, but yeah, behind the text could still be just slightly more solid.
I thought the background has been this for months already? – http://www.fourtheye.net/wp-content/themes/feye2007/images/net-of-being-content.jpg At least for me, I’ve had it that way for a really long time, so I’m surprised to see these others that haven’t. The ‘blue links’ thing is new to me though.
The theme has been optional for some time now, though incomplete. Now that it is complete it’s the default theme, so everyone who logs in gets this, unless they decide they want to use another.
