According to a recent interview on IGN with MTV Games’ Senior Vice President Paul DeGooyer, Tool is among the list of bands that they “working on” in order to get some for their tracks into the popular video game Rock Band. I don’t own Rock Band yet (in fact I’m not sure if it’s been released down under) but this would come pretty close to making me want to buy it.
DeGooyer agreed that both Tool and Journey would be excellent additions to the library and that “we’re working on them.”
What tracks would you guys like to see included? Would the lack of a double kick and gigantic drumkit make the drumming parts seem a little hollow?

I think Stinkfist would be the obvious choice personally.
Wasn’t Stinkfist banned on MTV? MTV owns Harmonix… I wouldn’t be surprised if they axed it just because of the title.

damn straight. We all know their dislike for MTV and such, but I know they do play Guitar Hero, so I cant see them dismissing the idea too quickly. It would definetly be a single though.
Hey dont get bummed out so fast guys this is a great thing. What we can do is extract the seperate tracks guitar, bass ,drums vocals and basically remix them. Make a instumaental version of this song. I lurk around the livenirvana forum and somebody managed to exract audio and a bunch of people dl’d them and made there own mixes it was pretty cool. this could be good assuming they use the actual music from the album as apposed to a cover/
