There was an ad in the Tool issue of Revolver that said something about a band on tour with Tool. I only skimmed it but I think it was referring to currently.

I called the venue on in honolulu as I have a few times before to see if they were playing and the lady got very weird and asked where I got my info from. She said she could not confirm or deny whether tool was coming in august as I claimed I had heard. Ive called twice before in the last two years and they just said no. This time they acted like they had info on tool coming but couldnt share it. Im going to try them tomorow and hopefully contact someone different and ask them. This is good… Read more »

Anyone had any success finding the Tool issue of Revolver in Australia?
Any help Hellboy? Maybe update with a new post regarding people finding the issue and where. Have I missed it or is it yet to hit our shores?
I tried Borders, normally have good results there. They had the regular June issue. Speaking of, did Revolver release two issues for the month of June, the regular and the Tool edition?

I’m yet to hear of anyone who’s found a copy of the magazine in Australia. I haven’t had much of a chance to look, but Borders is normally pretty good with imports, and I’d suggest if it’s going to appear anywhere then it’s likely to appear there.
Personally, I’ve mananged to secure a copy courtesy of a Toolarmy member, and should be getting that sometime in the next week. You can bet there will be some details made available to our Fourtheye readers once I get it…

I left a summary of the Tool issue of revolver in a comment here on fourth eye. Really nothing new in it at all. The majority of it is taken up by about a dozen old reprinted interviews from other magazines. The “Album by Album” section in the front was the best part. Really a lot of interesting stories of shows they played, the birth of “disgustipated”, and what was going on with the band during the making of each CD. Wish they gave the band more pages for this, and took out all those old reprints. No new info… Read more »

By the way if anyone is interested in the tool issue of revolver, I have it, and don’t have much more use for it. Not sure how much shipping to Aus would be. If it doesn’t show up at Borders down there soon, and anyone needs it I’ll be willing to sell a copy.
hellboy, i remember a while back you posted about the Stone Temple Pilots reunion at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio and commented that Ashes Divide was playing there as well… That was this past weekend and I was fortunate enough to attend. STP sounded amazing, I couldn’t imagine them sounding better or having a better setlist. Ashes Divide sounded pretty good and actually had a pretty decent size crowd for be relatively unknown
Anyway, I just thought you might be interested to know how it went.

It’s costing me about AU$23 to get a copy sent out here. That’s about US$11 for the magazine (which includes a small “bonus’ for the sender) and about US$10 postage.

Thanks Kadoka, I did see your summary. Even though there’s not much that is new I’s still like to pick it up. I guess I’ll keep checking borders. I was a little concerned it might have come and gone already.
