According to dirtyrockstar on Toolarmy, he heard them saying that Tool would be on tour soon on 97.1 (FM I presume) in Dallas. Apparently the station will be giving away tickets.
Not too sure about this to be honest. I’d like it to be true, but I don’t know that I’d expect Tool to tour again until after a new album had been released. Unless of course they’re recorded something in secret and will surprise us NIN style, but I kinda doubt that too.
Maybe they are touring. And even touring to New Zealand like they said they were gonna do. I saw them at the BDO in Auckland but I’ve been waiting all this time for them to come back like they said and then I can see Wings played live. Been waiting and waiting…. ah, they probably won’t, oh well…
Dallas…hmmmm…might be on the Ozzfest bill??? I am just curious but i doubt it. If so…maybe i can by those new Tool beachtowels there and sit down and chill…lol
As always, we have to wait until something official is posted, anyway it would be interesting a “Radiohead-NIN style” surprise album, i think thats closer than Blair stop posting silly “look at me” things…

We heard the same rumour on this very website. march 23rd 2008. A make up for a cancelled date. since its come up again i’d say its true
