Thanks to 20 or so of you emailing me to let me know about these dates. While I appreciate news tips and emails from all my readers, you guys probably don’t need to email me stuff published on the main news page of Toolband. The main reason it’s there and not here is usually because I’m still asleep!
Update: SoulRebel reports that another act is booked into the Atlanta venue on the 27th of July, so expect some kind of correction here (hopefully not a double booking!)
Everyone interested in the atlanta date please keep a watch out. that date is wrong. one of my friends have called the venue already but they wouldn’t officially say the date. the 27th is a Jason Mraz show if u want to go to that. hehehe

I called the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater as well to figure out the schedualing issue for the atlanta show. The “Starfest” ft. Jason Mraz is currently on schedule to be july 27. So do expect there to be a tool date change…first waiting forever to announce the date…then its wrong..what more could go wrong??

It’s probably just a typo I’d say. No doubt there will be a date around then.

Hmm, and still no explanation for the asterisk by the Dallas date.
no pit for me. It’s an amphitheater so the seats just above the pit and center stage…golden for a tool show.

I have a question on when tickets go on sale. When they go on sale at 10 or 10:30am….. is that Central time? If i am gonna go see them at San Antonio, should i get them at 10am or try 8 or 9am????
@ Metal–X
Ticket on sale times are ALWAYS on sale in the time zone of the venue. So, for example, if it’s 10:00am Central for a TX show and you’re in California, on Pacific, that would be 8:00am your time.
in europe we buy at the atm`s , its really okay sometimes .
dont you guys have that option ? good luck!
I highly expect Blair confused the Verizon Amphitheater with Lakewood Amphitheater, which is available on that date…

Regarding the Atlanta show, of course.

Atlanta show to go on sale june 6…scheduling issue still to be resolved it looks like.
Ok, so the time is now 9 PM EST. At about 8 PM, BMB added on-sale dates to these two shows: JULY 27 – ATLANTA, GA – VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEATER – ON SALE JUNE 6 JULY 29 – CHARLOTTE, NC – BOJANGLE’S COLISEUM – ON SALE MAY 29 Though he did not correct the Atlanta date. According to Badkitty’s sources, the correct date is indeed the 28th of July. The tour section of TA has also been updated, though, for some reason, he’s still neglected to add the Lolla date. Why is that? It is a confirmed show, no? I mean, I… Read more »

Lollapalooza has definitely been confirmed on Toolband. Unsure of the date it was posted, but I remember Blair posting an image and a link to the Lollapalooza site. Not sure why it’s not in the tour section/newsletter though, I imagine it’s probably just slipped his mind.
I reckon; the Patriot Center sounds like a pretty lame place.
to be.
so, who is opening for Tool? Just curious.

might have been SoulRebel?
Hi, new to the board. As far as ATL is concerned I also called they said that TOOL hasn’t booked a date with them yet. My guess is it will be the 28th because they are playing the 29th in Charlotte.

It’s going to be on the 27th in Duluth, instead. Confirmed today.
