Isis have announced they are currently mixing a new song for future release.
Drummer Aaron Harris recently posted the following message on his Twitter page: “Mixing an ISIS track for a future release. Sounding Pretty…Pretty…Pretty… Good.”
It is reported that the song will most likely feature on an upcoming split CD with the Melvins.
Isis’s forthcoming 12″ split release with the Melvins has been set for a July 13th release date through Hydra Head. The effort will see Isis contribute their two “Wavering Radiant” b-sides, “Way Through Woven Branches” (previously only available on the Japanese version of “Wavering Radiant“) and “The Pliable Foe” (previously unreleased.)
Meanwhile, the Melvins will chip in with alternate versions of their new tracks “Pig House” and “I’ll Finish You Off“.

You mean the Isis/Melvins split? Not to put a dampener on your idea, but my understanding is that it’s only one copy per person, and besides I believe it will become available on the Hydrahead site next month.

Ah, I thought the vinyls being sold at the ISIS shows were special tour-only vinyls, but if they will be available to purchase online sometime in the next month, there is no need for me to buy one from someone else. Not to worry, though, gnjasmkr, I might have you pick me up a tour T-shirt or tour poster instead, if you want.

This saturday June 5th. I was at the Melvins show last night in San Diego but they didn’t have it for sale. They might have it when they both play together. I’ll know saturday if they do.

$200 big ones. They sold quite a few last night but i sure as hell didn’t have that on me and not sure i’ll have it in San Jose. Posters were $10.00 shirts were $20.00 cd’s were $10 and they were also selling the vinyls of (A) Senile Animal & Nude with Boots i didn’t get the prices on these.

Thanks mate, I figured it’d be around the $200 mark. Maybe if they have some left after the tour I may invest, but at this stage I don’t have that kind of cash lying around.
