Today we’re expecting a few dates to trickle in. As they do I’ll keep updating this post, as well as the rumours section on the tour page.
First cab off the rank is the 1st of July at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, MN. According to seanvoyseyolson this was confirmed on 93x (a radio station I presume).
Update 1: I just got an anonymous tip that Tool will be playing in St Louis at the Family Arena. Date wasn’t mentioned. Strongly in the rumoured category for now…

Ahhhh…it’s good to live in the SF Bay Area. Not the best venue though, but I’ll take it.
The last show in SF at Bill Graham was totally rad. Tim Alexander and Jello Biafra guest spots. I can’t wait for this one, one Muni ride away from my apt. Hoping for a revived setlist/show. But will enjoy whatever the boys have in store.
I have that show on my Itunes. Gotta love the 18+ minute version of Lateralus.

^ Hell Yes!!! That was such a great show.

I couldn’t be more delighted to find this out today. All it took was a shot in the dark to see if Toolarmy was back up and running again. Hope they come close to the NYC area. sinvin – 41 minutes ago » The last show in SF at Bill Graham was totally rad. Tim Alexander and Jello Biafra guest spots. nice to see canadians getting some love
visited that country with my family before, so beautiful!
Also have the show on my Ipod…..epic fucking show. The lasers were perfect with the size of the room. Although BGCC has some sound problems I prefer it from the enormous Oracle arena in Oakland or the cluster-fuck that is Shoreline. See y’all July 12th! Getting my plan together as I type this for my “mind expansion.”

i was under impression they always usually started in california
Please come to Santa Barbara or Los Angeles.
Please.
For me.
Please.
Regina. Sweet.
so….wheres the east coast dates?????
WHAT ABOUT kEY ARENA DAMMIT
Any chance they will ever return to Hawaii?
Not sure what’s up with the Seattle show. Funny that the first one to be leaked to me still hasn’t been confirmed anywhere!
Looks like New Orleans is as close as it gets for east coast dates. Look for the infamous TA tent in the parking lot.

no seattle, no portland, no gorge…? blasphemy!!! here’s hopin that more dates are being added soon! ugh… = \
Big bummer… was hoping for an Atlanta show….or at least some place close.
Oh well, I guess nickleback will be getting my concert $$$$$$’s this summer..
Or Tool could come East.. The ball is in your court Tool, don’t make me go see nickleback..
;-}~

WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME!? =O If these really are all the dates, I’m kinda glad. Even tho it means if i would want to see them I’d have to head to MN or KC… but since they are only playing places that didn’t get a round last summer… my bet is that the setlist and stage… Read more »
Regina it is. It’s 10 1/2 hours away, and all my damn friends have a DUI, Upity Canadians, looks like it’s solo man 5000 for this trip (Unless They announce that Phantom Seattle show) oh yeah MONTANA!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I’m also afraid that this is going to be a tour VERY similar to last year’s short jaunt. Why else would they only play places they did’nt hit the tour prior? Oh well…I have learned to calm my over-inflated expectations just as Maynard has warned and just enjoy whatever they do. Tool doing an hour and a half set with all songs I have seen/heard several times before beats any typical boring night watching TV in my underwear. The high ticket prices are a bit annoying but I only have to spend $3.50 roundtrip to/from the show to see… Read more »
Not even you would stoop to that level!!
It has come to fruition my friend…….10,000 D’oh nuts TOOL TOUR!!

Don’t think it’s gonna happen. Local rock radio station in Seattle (KISW 99.9) is sponsoring the Vancouver, BC show. I still don’t know why though, nothing is booked for Key Arena, the Gorge, or any other large venue in the area that weekend. I checked all the websites anticipating something, alas, no.
FUCK! No trip to Michigan

I’m starting to wonder if this is just another leg of the 10K tour…. Which is fine and all. Re-heated tool is still better than most of the bands out there, but the 10K tour doesnt match the intensity of the lateralus shows in my opinion.
At this point i’m more exited about the summer Primus/Gogol Bordello tour.
Would a diversion from Missouri to Chicago be that big of a pain in the ass? Makes sense logistically to me.
Would a diversion from Missouri to Chicago be that big of a pain in the ass? Makes sense logistically to me.
I said the same thing about the MN date from Chicago two years ago!
Common Toronto!! Molson Amp is open june 28th and 29th, they play Missouri the 26th, easy enough drive over 2 days, then next show isnt til the 1st then.. Probably wont happen but damn that owuld be sweet!
So far they are not playing in a single city they played in last year, so I wouldn’t bet on Chicago or Toronto.
There is a hole between St. Charles and St. Paul that ssurely will be filled with shows on the 28th and 29th. So somewhere between St. Louis and St. Paul? I’m going with Indy and Milwaukee.
ya i think toronto is wishful thinking now
we’ve been spoiled enough with the same amazing setlist over the past 5 years, time to give others their turn
It’s the 11,000 Days tour.
see y’all in houston.
It’s the 11,000 Days tour.
Since it’s starting in New Orleans… It’s the Drill, Baby Drill Tour!
Blah, I was looking forward to these dates. Not going to drive halfway across the country, guess I’ll have to wait for the next round.
CEDAR PARK!
Wow…I am so grateful that Tool is now coming to my second hometown. 15 minutes away from me and I just started working at that venue!
I will be there for sure along with a HORDE of Austinites that I have shown the light to!
THANK YOU!
Think Buzz will be playing with them in San Francisco? The Melvins are playing in San Jose on the friday before the SF show. Last show of their tour I think.
According to ticketmaster (assholes). The SF show goes on sale ON THE 9TH. I hope this is accurate and not another fuck up by Ticketmaster.
