Word on the Tool Hotline in regards to tickets:
The dates were announced the evening of June 3rd and went on sale the morning of June 4th, but were subsequently pulled from Tool band and Ticketmaster. According to Ticketmaster, the ticket sales were pulled from their site by the promoter but the dates still stand and the promoter will announce a future on sale date (hopefully with more than one day’s notice!). Stay tuned.
I don’t remember them being on Toolband, perhaps they were briefly. Either way, it looks like there should be an announcement and proper sale of these tickets soon.
I just knew there was strangeness afoot yesterday. Somebody screwed up royally. I wonder what happens to those that were able to purchase tickets with confirmation numbers…how are they going to handle that?

Not sure what will happen, will be interesting to see what comes of this. On one hand if all those that got tickets have them invalidated, they’ll be pissed, on the other hand, no doubt a whole shitload of scalpers got tickets the first time too…

It’s kinda like the seattle date, Blair never even mentioned an onsale date for it, the only reason i knew it was gonna happen was this website and my local radiostation, i think that Blair is becoming obsolete, i wonder if they’ll ask Hellboy to take over. seems like he’s got it more dialed in than Blair

As sad as I am for people who didn’t get tickets.. I got amazing tickets the other day and really hope they are not void, because more likely than not, if I try to repurchase tickets, I won’t be able to get any of the same quality.

I was only able to score a pair of tickets for the Sunday show before they were pulled by TM. I was planning on taking one final road trip to all 3 shows, but since I couldn’t get tickets for the other 2 nights I will sell these tix at face to someone here before I go the dreaded ebay route. This is contingent however on these tickets being honored. I have a confirmation number and my tm account says tickets are in the process of being printed but they have been that way for 9 days always a busy… Read more »
Are your tickets for the L.A. Nokia Theater show, lachrymologist? If so, where are they and how much do you plan on selling them for?

I would say $160 is fair to a true fan. However I don’t want to do anything official until I have the tickets in hand, especially with the circumstances surrounding these shows!

I haven’t heard anything from TM about my tickets, refund, etc., though they did charge my card. Does anyone know the name of the company promoting the shows? I guess I’m curious to also find out if the shows actually even “sold out” if they were pulled from TM pretty much right when they went on sale…

tool army site NOW saying L.A. dates of 7/18 and 7/19 with tickets to go on sale THIS friday at 10am…. ONLY 2 DATES INSTEAD OF 3, AND DIRECTLY CONTRADICTING WHAT TICKETMASTER CUSTOMER SERVICE called to tell me last week… seriously… WTF is going on??? and who with any real authority can answer that???
The shirts from the show only listed the two days. It’s strange that this was not mentioned sooner since they knew in enough time to print the shirts with those dates on it.

They probably had them on the shirts becuase they knew the dates but hadn’t confirmed the new on-sale dates. I’m sure everyone’s are going to get recalled. I had a sweet ticket for the 21st and now my order status says $0.00 where it used to say $100.00.
Well this is going to suck if it doesn’t happen. I had MEZZ Row A Seat 307 for the show on the 21st. Limeygringo same here when i checked my order history but my bank account says it got charged and no refund as of yet.
