There is a 2 ticket limit per show
A very limited number of VIP packages will be available for each show. The two types of VIP packages are: 1. Wine tasting, meet & greet and ticket to the show; 2. Meet & greet and ticket to the show. These packages will also be on-sale at the times listed above.
It doesn’t seem to say where the tickets are being sold, but I’m guessing via Ticketmaster
Update: According to Facebook tickets will be via Ticketmaster. There are no pre-sales and there is a limit of two tickets per person. There will be 3-day passes for every town except Vegas.
10 Events up as of now. Just LA, Seattle and Vegas so far (so that’s actually 8 events and then the 2 3-Day options). Odd that Phoenix isn’t up, considering those are the first shows. I don’t know if I can justify hitting all 3 APC shows, but if the SF Fillmore 3-Day is $77 I would consider it. Definitely interested in seeing the first two. SO glad they are seemingly keeping a lid on tickets with the 2 max limit. I just hope they are keeping the slimy leeches out of the ticket pool altogether. Seems like there are… Read more »
Any more information on where/when to purchase the VIP packages? Am I wrong to think that is what the 3 Day Passes/3 Day Package are?
The tickets are already for sale on ebay lol. Fuck scalpers!!!
WHAT THE FUCK!! $288 a piece! this is disgusting

Yeah but we all knew this wouldn’t end well.
2 questions regarding the tickets. If anyone could answer these that would be helpful. Thanks!
1. Does anyone know how much the meet and greet will cost?
2. Is the seating at the Avalon general admission standing room only? or are their chairs? just wondering. Thanks again. Can’t wait for some APC to tide me over till Tool again.

Can’t answer the first one but I was looking at the Avalon website the other day and it looked like the whole theatre was seated.
AZ ticket info is posted on the venue’s site. $30 a night or $75 for a 3-day pass. Per the site only 100 3-day passes will be available.

I think it’s badass how they’re doing their albums live like this
The tickets are already for sale on ebay lol. Fuck scalpers!!! so retarded huh? hey (burlylves!) this is pretty much the only “bright idea” i could come up w/. i live about an hour away from seattle, so i was thinking that im prob. just gonna spend a night there before tickets go on sale so i can have a better chance @ getting them, at the venue box office. im planning on getting there way early before a line forms. because lets face reality, i honestly think that its going to be next to impossible, trying to get tickets… Read more »
wow never fucking mind. im fucking pissed!!! a.p.c TWITTER: “Venue Box offices have been asked to pull tickets off the system for people lined up outside day of On Sale. Fingers crossed they oblige.” whatever, fuck it then.

Getting tickets to this thing will be a lottery. I guess lining up can lower the odds in your favor if you’re willing to get there early enough…
im willing to get there as early as needed. but now thats even looking slim, from reading that twitter update. i just dont see why they would book a gig, where the maximum capacity is 1,100 ppl. yea they havent been around for awhile, but jeez c’mon! its not like their waaay underground.

I’d guess they’re more interested in playing the venue rather than playing to the crowd.

that could be it.
i happened to be strolling around the market on Sunday (in Seattle) saw the front door open at the Showbox, and walked in looking like i belonged there. i actually made it up to the main stage and ballroom, because nobody stopped me. i was amazed how small the place was. Gonna be tough to get tickets, but if it does happen, it will be an intimate scene!!
Going for the 3 day pass…..but will be happy with night one or two at the least!!
fingers crossed
Fortunately, they are not playing on the east coast. Man, I’m getting stressed just reading these posts. I imagine I would have a coronary if I were trying to get tickets. I just know my cause of death will be listed as: acute coronary syndrome due to TooL ticket sales.

Would it be outrageous for a person from close to Vancouver to drive down to Seattle this Friday to purchase tickets? Suppose that there are only so many tickets available for people outside the box office… just a thought.
Sounds like a pretty out of the way trip just to stand in line for something you, in my opinion, have a better chance of purchasing online.

Okay, I’ll save myself the trip. However, purchasing online via the venue itself or Ticketbastard…. that has yet to be decided. I’m thinking of both phoning the venue AND trying the online purchase via the venue’s website (Showbox in Seattle). Would that be wise? I’m not a concert veteran, so that’s why I’m seeking the wisdom of you wisemen/women.
That might work, although the box office at that particular venue might not sell concert tickets over the phone; I really have no idea, so you might want to double check if they do ahead of time. Do you have a friend who can help you with this process? Maybe you could try to purchase a ticket online from Ticketmaster and your friend can call the box office at the venue directly and try to purchase one from them.

[quote] This is what I did for the Tool Red Rocks show. I went online to Ticketmaster and called Ticketmaster at the same time. I actually went online with my pc and my phone while I called them (thank you ATT for finally doing something right). By the time I got thru online I had pretty crummy seats. The CSR first offered me even crappier seats but before I went ahead and made the purchase online I had him check one more time. Then the gods smiled down upon me and he found me four 1st row seats. It’s definitely… Read more »
1st row must have been incredible, no matter what side of the stage you were on.
I wonder how fast tickets will sell out for the Avalon, Hollywood show.
I would also really like to know where and when the VIP tickets will be sold.
Yes I am totally down. I was already planning to do that! I think pulling tickets
from the system for people in line means the people in line will get tickets 1st.
I hope I’m not wrong about that. Let’s see what’s up, I am in communication with a
guy at the Showbox, so we’ll just see what happens.
right on! hey if you hear any new info good or bad, will you pm me? i’ll do the same also.
right on! hey if you hear any new info good or bad, will you pm me? i’ll do the same also. whoa! whoa! whoa! please dont leave us out with the PM game, please! if you hear something from your guy at the Showbox, let us all know. this is the place to share tricks with your common, die hard, APC fans. i want tickets too! if i stand better chance in person at the box office for Showbox, rather than online, i need to know. otherwise i will hack into your fourtheye account, get your home address, and… Read more »
i didnt mean it like that, i guess i was in a dif frame of mind, were gonna be meeting up in seattle if things work out w/ the box office. if i hear of anything i’ll let everyone know.
totally kidding dude! but yeah, if you hear anything, please let us know. i want to see these shows soooo bad. to see APC in that theatre would be like seeing them in my living room.
to see APC in that theatre would be like seeing them in my living room.
totally!!! oh so loud, and oh so intimate. 🙂 hopefully things work out for all of us.
So far the word today is they won’t be open early enough at the venue to
sell tickets since they open at 11 and the tickets go on sale at 10. I told
him that’s bullshit, and he better get their asses in there at 9 dammit lol.
He said he’s on it and will see what he can do since this is a huge event.
I guess we keep our fingers crossed. And if they do end up selling them, I
will pm my cell# to you 24Lateralus. Peace and good luck to us all.
thanx for the update! much appreciated! yea if tickets fall through, this is pretty much what ppl will be reduced to. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=a+perfect+circle+tickets&_sacat=See-All-Categories
think im just gonna go on the phone, worked for the 5 tool shows i saw this year,…. if not ill pay out my ass for the first 2 nights lol.
All those people selling tickets on ebay before they even go on sale should be shot. No fair trial, no excuses. Just one bullet to the head. So they cap a two ticket maximum to all the fans, which I do agree with and it’s about time that a band Maynard is in took some effort towards the situation, but these scalpers somehow get 8 tickets an entire week before they go on sale!? No, I can’t support this. Complete bullshit. Fuck ticketmaster and ebay for supporting this as well. Am I just retarded or wasn’t ticket scalping at one… Read more »
i have a message into the Showbox to find out if they are selling ticks out of the box office. if they are, i am going to camp out overnight Thursday on the street. i am 38 yrs old, and i cant believe i am saying this!!! i have to get the 3 day pass though.
Gee, it would be really nice of the guys to travel to the other side of the country for a change. It’s ok though, I really didn’t want to give them my money anyway.
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Tool do an East Coast tour in 2009? Pretty sure that’s better than 90% of three world..
3 day passes for SF?
Good luck to those Citi Card holders going to Las Vegas.
Yep, that’s weird huh? I hope they add that option. And the SF tix are a bit more @ $40 a pop.
13 Events up as of now. Added 3 SF shows to LA, Seattle and Vegas so far (so that’s actually 11 events and then the 2 3-Day options for LA and SEA, but NO 3-Day for SF?). And still no Phoweenix dates at all.
I agree with you, man, I wish there was a way to report ticket scalpers on eBay, but sadly there is not.
I am trying to buy tickets to the Vegas shows with my Citi Card but cannot get any. Anyone else having any luck?!?!?
Negative. Saying there are no matches. Murgh.
GOD DAMMIT!!!
