Via the A Perfect Circle Facebook page I came across this interview with Billy in regards to A Perfect Circle on Gun Shy Assassin. Amongst other things we already know, it also mentions that they’re planning on making a DVD from these reunion shows:
But that’s not all. In addition, Howerdel says he’d like to document the upcoming reunion shows for a possible DVD release in the fall of 2011. He also spoke about what brought A Perfect Circle back together, and the possibility of more shows this coming spring and summer…depending on how far along in the writing process Tool are at that point for their next LP.
Not a long interview but worth a quick read…
They also had the following words of wisdom:
Reminder, tickets for Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle and Las Vegas shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday Sept. 24. Shows are on-sale at 10 am pacific except Las Vegas which is on sale at 12 noon. Tickets can be purchased at the venue box office or online. LA, Seattle and Las Vegas can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com; Phoenix (Tempe) can be purchased through Luckymanonline.com. San Francisco is on-sale Sunday.
less than 24 hrs til tickets go on sale……you’d think we’d get a little more information. like cost on wine meet & greet. and still no price 4 LA 3 day pass. maybe i’m missing something…..anyone else seen anything?

I’m sure if the band knew they would release the information.

Meet N Great in Phoenix is $225 each.
With Wine Tasting it is $275 each
SF 3 day is now up $99 ($22 more than Seattle!?!?)

Damn straight Tool has priority.

I think the reality is Tool are still very firmly on the agenda, and APC are just taking the opportunity to slot in a few shows while they can. I’d guess Danny, Adam & Justin aren’t really at a point yet… Read more »
sweet a DVD! at least that way international fans will get a taste of what this tour was like. What an exciting time for music fans, so much good stuff going on!

Tool is working on the new disc, they are just not at a point where M’s vocals are needed. Sorry M, but i am hoping that APC and the forthcoming TOOL keep you busy enough to stay away from pussyfur. it only makes sense. folks are rabid about TOOL and APC, but very mixed about pussyfur. DVD should be great.… Read more »
Adam, Danny, Justin, take your time! it will be worth the wait, and needs to be done on your time.
They have all the time in the world. Provided they’re not sneaking about in the studio as we speak, I can’t see them getting down to recording anytime before March. Late Oct-Nov is APC time. Can’t see them recording in December. It seems quite likely they’ll be Down Under until mid-February.
If Danny, Adam and Just can’t get shit done in that time frame then they probably should give it away.

Are you kidding ? If it’s true, it’s a shame.
$225 for maynard to look at you for 5 seconds and say “thanks for coming”

I hate scalpers. I was on ticketmaster at 10 am and couldn’t get a single ticket for 1 of 3 shows. Pathetic.
Nice.
Apart from that, you do get amazing seats and some pretty cool things that fans with regular tickets miss out on. A meet and greet is also a great opportunity to get your favorite A Perfect Circle mousepad, stapler, thong or snowboard signed by the band, but not by Maynard.

Are any of these APC shows seated? I thought they were all GA?
I am probably wrong, but I think there is seating at the very back of the Avalon, at least that is what it looks like from the floor plan you can download from their website.
The Las Vegas show has seats (GA also).
