Ganjalf pointed me towards a couple of cool  Youtube videos by DunlopTV showing of Adam’s and Justin’s rigs.  Great stuff and mandatory viewing for any guitar geek! Here’s Adam’s: And Justin’s: To me these videos are far more exciting than APC dates…

Just as I’d gone to bed an email slips into my inbox with details on the upcoming A Perfect Circle tour: A Perfect Circle will play Phoenix (Marquee Theatre), Los Angeles (Avalon), Seattle (Showbox at The Market), San Francisco (The Fillmore) and Las Vegas (The Pearl) this fall.  Each of the three-night stops will feature one of A Perfect Circle’s albums in its entirety (Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step and… Read More »A Perfect Circle show details announced

Monday will be a good day….

…to be an A Perfect Circle fan according to Billy’s Myspace page.  Combined with a Facebook update of “Stay Tuned” we can only guess that tour dates will be announced then.  Or perhaps just some more information regarding their plans. In other social media related news, Junior posted on Facebook just a little while ago that he’ll be working with Devo the next couple of months.  Possibly importantly for us… Read More »Monday will be a good day….

Tool Big Day Out rumours ramping up…

There has been much speculation in the past few weeks, part of it from me about Tool playing the Big Day Out here in Australia and New Zealand in 2011.  Blair has made several hints towards and Australian tour in recent newsletters, and just now the Big Day Out Facebook page has just released the following clue: One of the Big Day Out 2011 headline acts live in Los Angeles,… Read More »Tool Big Day Out rumours ramping up…

M.T.Void release approaching

Justin sent us a message today via Toolband regarding Nothing’s Matter, the debut release from M.T.Void: We are proud and excited to announce the imminent release of "Nothing’s Matter", the complete and concise work of "M.T.Void" – an experimental collaboration, of the sonic kind, between Justin Chancellor and Peter Mohamed. The logistics of making this available to you all have so far proved to be an obstacle. We are currently… Read More »M.T.Void release approaching

Maynard talks about Tool & Puscifer plans

jsmodena emailed me a link to a new interview with Maynard on Spin.  It’s pretty brief, but touches on upcoming recording/writing plans for both Tool and Puscifer: New music from Tool is also in the works. "They are getting together and writing," he says of bandmates drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, and bassist Justin Chancellor. "I’ll be popping back into L.A. soon to check in."

Spotted on the Puscifer site by chonus, are these limited edition A Perfect Circle Snowboards, proceeds from which helped the Edward Willie Cancer Fund. Here are the details: Capita snowboard produced a VERY limited number of A Perfect Circle snowboards (less than 10). This one is a directional freestyle board, brand new in the plastic except for where signed by Maynard James Keenan. Artwork contains lyrics from their 13th Step… Read More »A Perfect Circle Limited Edition Snowboards

Maynard on Blood Into Wine

In a new interview with Artist Direct, Maynard discusses the Blood Into Wine movie, which is now available on DVD.  He talks about wine making, the movie, and a little about Puscifer.  No Tool news for those who are only interested in one thing (apart from sex): It’s an inspiring film because audiences very rarely have the opportunity to see how intense the winemaking process is. It’s been removed from… Read More »Maynard on Blood Into Wine
