Tracey from The Rock FM, a radio station in New Zealand today had a chat with Adam about the upcoming Big Day Out tour in 2011. He also touches on the song writing process, and from what he says it sounds like things are going well.
Thanks to Logan for the tip.
Adam is so refreshingly pleasant. Good interview.
I think the Hobbit would benefit from the addition of Adam in the creative crew, I mean imagine the combination of Del Toro and Jones’ imaginations!?
It’d be a lovely, lovely thing.
Excellent interview, thanks for posting
Great Interview, If their art wasn’t created for us to interpret, then there would be no point. Tool still is the thinking mans metal.
Wow, Adam seemed in a really good mood. Thats was very cool interview. Thanks for posting it.
The Rock always did do good interviews, and I think there are previous tool interviews on their website from the last BDO. I miss listening to them in the mornings, English radio is shiiiiit.
Good interview. I haven’t heard many with Adam. He has some interesting perspectives on things.
Long live the geeks!! I love how he refers to the Peter Jackson and co. as “his people”. That’s how I feel whenever I’m around my TooL friends.
I’d get sick of doing interviews like that. Especially when the questions asked are so retarded.
He did some good acting though.
through all these years being a huge TOOL fan, 18 to be exact, i dont recall hearing Adam talk that long. he seems like a solid dude for sure!
the time has come! 3 nights in a row of APC in a tiny venue, playing every song they have ever recorded. it starts in exactly 13 hrs, and i am already full of butterflies and anticipation. see you on the other side.
good interview. shes got a really sexy voice
that was pretty much the chattiest i’ve ever heard Adam. still hear undertones of conflict between him and Maynard, but in many ways, i believe their differences are just another part of what makes this the greatest band in the world. they don’t have to be mick and keith to be as good as they are, in fact, it really is part of what makes ’em better. i cannot wait for the new album—i truly believe it will be their best work to date! 8~)

Love how he brought up the Alternative Nation festival, from 95, out at Eastern Creek (Sydney)… So, so much mud! A some much of it pelted at Live. Good times!
