A member of Tool, presumably Maynard has filmed and uploaded a short video of the band preparing to enter the stage at the recent gig in Brisbane. Note for fans trying to remain in the dark regarding the setlist – minor spoilers ahoy!

this was good…anyone ever been on a stage? I don’t care what it was, because being on stage is a trip…I love it….brought me back to those days….performing.
I love that Maynard has an iPhone and records all this stuff. That’s a pretty insane view from the stage, that must be a huge rush walking out and seeing all those people there to see you.
haha I saw him recording that. He had the cam on one of those extender tripod attachment things and held it up for the audience view then spun it around 360.
I was hoping somebody got some vid of him doing just that. People are starting to make iPhone matrix movies, and that would be really cool to integrate into a 3rd Eye vid, using Maynard’s own ‘footage’. 8`)
i have seen TOOL several times over the last couple years in Denver, Cincinatti, Vancouver, Seattle…..APC 3 night in a row from the rail…..so i feel i have got my share!
however, this video finally got the jealousy bug out! hope you all are enjoying these shows. not too many years of this left.

Thats actually a pretty cool idea. Very nice to get a glimpse, even if its a teaser. I like the hand movements, feeling the vibe thing. Nice to know they are still having a good time playing around. You guys are getting some great shows. I would kill to see them close with The Pot!
