According to the email I received, we can expect a few more dates to be announced, as well as on-sale details shortly.  It also mentions that we can expect a Puscifer announcement in the coming weeks as well.

Where the leaves Tool no one really knows.  I’ve heard that they are working very hard on the next album, and my understanding is that songwriting is pretty advanced, but unless they plan on starting to record the album in the next couple of weeks (which is not outside the realms of possibility), I’m not sure I can see a release happening this year…

I’m definitely looking forward to going to some more APC shows but I would rather they wrap up the new Tool record. I guess we cant always get want we want.

If it’s going to be another year, this Tool release better be 50 hours long on a fucking Blu-Ray disc.

Yay, Minnesota dates! I missed out on both Puscifer AND Tool when they were in the twin cities last year. I gotta make it to this. Who knows when the next time they’ll be here will be.

Um… these tickets are going to be $60 bucks. Excuse me, but Who is this band again? When did they release a solid album…? Oh yeah…. 1999… WTF? I would pay 60 bucks for a Puscifer show and twice that for a TOOL show, but honestly, I really do not want to see Billy Howerdel channeling Billy Corgan.

That Billy Corgan line cracked me up.

As for the price, I’ll be able to get discounted tickets when the come out to LA, so suck on that.

You would pay more for a Puscifer show than APC? You’re an idiot.

If anyone wants to make $20+ just for getting me a signed poster at one of the shows…i would appreciate. Of course I would pay in advance, by paypal, if thats ok. WIth a newborn, its pretty impossible to make it out to a concert. If anyone is interested let me know…

demorgan

By the way, I would gladly pay $60 a ticket to get to go. The last time I seen them was at some masonary temple in MO..i think it was springfield. It was unbelievable.

So glad I didn’t spend the 300 for a pair of tix to ROTR! 60 bucks is a fucking steal

So after getting that e-mail this morning about APC dates and new puscifer music, I went to puscifers site, the last update was on V-day…”Lot’s Brewing behind the curtain. Working on new tunes, new vids, new trinkets, and a new show for the Fall. Updates to follow.”

Hard to see Tool anything anytime soon it seems.

Hope so! I’m pretty content still, somehow. Maybe cause everyone else has the bitching and complaing part down. =)

I’d actually like to go see Puscifer. Didn’t get into them at the beg….but now I dig em’.

Heh… Sensitive kids. And YES, Puscifer shows are a HELL of a lot more fun than APC shows… but I guess you need a sense of humor to get that one… What I really should have said was, Who would want to go to a show for 60 bucks in Minnesota… I mean, come on, isn’t that like a years salary in that part of the country right now… not to mention Denver. See you in Berkeley, LA, and NYC for the APC shows kids. I will be the one in the bright pink jacket heckling Howerdel. I think the… Read more »

I see where you’re coming from, however I hear there are some very positive signs coming from within the Tool camp. Don’t write them off just yet…

Spew forth these revelations Hellboy or be charged with “Withholding Information”…

Yeah, I would love to see a MJK show at the Tabernacle. That is where Tool premiered Lateralus in 2001. The torrent of this show is out there somewhere. The video used to be on Youtube, but no longer.

WOW.

turns out maynard has a soundproofed recording booth for his vocal work with tool installed inside his private tour bus for a perfect circle.

I’ve waited for new Tool for pretty much 5 years now, another year isn’t going to hurt… as long as the album lives up to my expectations (which im sure it will).

I reckon MJK will do this APC tour, wrap it up in August and then hit the recording studio with Tool… so looking at an April 2012 release. That gives the boys another 5 months to finalize their shit and make it perfect, plenty of time.

Say APC tours till the end of August, thats still a few months before the end of the year for maynard to come in and start putting vocals to songs and them changing stuff around to fit him coming back into the band… it won’t take them long to record and I predict and end of the year release with them coming back for BDO next year and hopefully more sideshows.

Yeah they are due in europe next i reckon. Im predicting a major MJK vanity project – new Tool and APC to be released on the same day in May. Or 10000 days vinyl at least…

Anyone notice most of the show times are listed as 4PM. I’m sure that’s an oversight just thought it was a little weird.

It appears to be tempoarary on sale times? Seems a bit odd but its only like that on the recently announced shows. The original 3 shows have the tix link

Same here. I’m up at OSU and will most definitely be traveling down to Grand Prairie. What part of the state are you from?[/quote]

hmmm I’m currently in London, and really considering heading to New York for one of the shows (mrs wants to go there for a few nights anwyay so what better time!), how big are these venues? Is it just going to be a shit storm trying to get tickets? Any advice from people heading to the New York shows would be appreciated (what venue is better, closer to the city etc). I’m just getting sick of waiting here in the UK for Maynard to tour with APC or Tool, and with the album not out for what will probably be another 12… Read more »

I haven’t checked the other venues but the Boston show on the APC website doesn’t have tickets available however if you go to pavillionboxoffice.com they are already selling tickets (at pretty ridiculous prices). Maybe it’s just a limited release since the tickets there are like $200+ a piece….

Pavilion Tickets
We proudly offer secondary market tickets. This site is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with any official box office or official …
http://www.pavilionboxoffice.com/ – Cached

from a google search so maybe not official, I would be shocked if the initial sale of tickets wasn’t through ticketbastard or live nation which is….ticketbastard

ok nm, my bad. When you google “bank of america pavillion” it’s the first site that comes up and is listed as bankofamerica.pavilionboxoffice.com so I thought it was their site
