Firstly Blair advised us via Toolband that Tool tour mates Rajas will be playing a handful of shows in June:
June 15th – Portland @ Rotture
June 16th – Seattle @ The Comet
June 18th – Vancouver B.C. @ Funky Winkerbeans
June 23rd – Calgary, Sled Island Fest @ Royal Canadian Legion #1
June 24th – Edmonton @ The Starlite Room
June 25th – Vancouver B.C. @ The Railway Club
June 27th – Portland @ East EndAnd a nicely done video:
Next up is a short Puscifer update which appeared on the Perfect Circle Facebook page:
Interested in Maynard’s latest project, Puscifer? Big news coming soon; join theFacebook page to be one of thefirst to know.
Nothing has appeared on the Puscifer Facebook page as yet, which can be found here.
Lastly, todays Children of Saturn show features The Jesus Lizard/Qui singer and Schism commentator David Yow. You can find more details on how to tune in here.
danny mentioned this on his site as well. 😉
Maynard mentioned on his twitter that Jon Theodore is gonna be playing drums on the new Puscifer album…..FUCKEN THEODORE !
are you serious? i just looked for it, couldn’t find anything….that would be fucking epic, though i think Puscifer may be a little too slow-paced for Theodore….either way, if you’re not bullshitting me, hell yes. if you are bullshitting me, nicely done.
holy shit. just found it. you were NOT bullshitting, sir….
whilst its quiet i just wanna mention Opeth, Mastodon and Soundgarden all have albums coming out THIS year…
very cool
Limp Bizkit also have an album out!
Supported by a tour I hope!
I did it all for the nookie.
really …i wish i hadnt known that……..not you markus
Limp Biscuit = ex: of when drugs did NOT do good things for us
IlC
^ M’kay!
and from what I gather Mastodon took 2 weeks to record their new stripped down album! Wish Tool would think the same way… I know Soundgarden split up and GNR proved a long absence doesnt make a great record but c’mon…
i have to say that is a good strip club song. just keep your eyes on the girl. 😉
For those who have seen Rajas, would you recommend? I’ve heard a few clips from youtube, but can’t really get a feel. Worth seeing on Thursday?
@ Imnotu – I have not seen Rajas live. However if they were coming near me, based on what I’ve heard, I would likely give them a shot. As I said elsewhere, I’m liking them better than many a TººL opening act so far. If you do go, please post a review.
