According to Blair, a very limited edition (only 100 copies) of The Melvins latest album The Bride Screamed Murder featuring artwork by Adam will go on sale here sometime tonight. No word on what time it will be, so I expect you guys will spam the site and bring it down soon!
Good luck to potential buyers, limit is one per customer, and from memory the albums cost US$50 each plus postage and handling (though I could be wrong).
Update: The Album is on sale now, though I expect will sell out relatively soon…
Update 2: All sold out now. Were available for about 3 hours from around 5:00pm Australian Eastern Time and sold out some time around 8pm…

Previous albums in this collection have sold out pretty damn quick, so I suspect they will release it late to try and mitigate traffic. Â They normally announce on facebook as well, so it’s worth following them there if you’re ultra keen on getting a copy.Â
I haven’t been the biggest fan of Adam’s illustrations since we saw them portrayed on TOOL’s tour posters last summer.

I agree, he isn’t the greatest of artists. My 6 year old nephew could do a lot better than him. Stick to music and directing music videos which is more suited to your style of art. Sketching and drawing isn’t one of them…

literally just got back from the Melvins gig in San Diego. Walked out and Buzz was just getting into his jeep and driving off, kind of funny. They had the album on sale at the show but I didn’t see any of Adam’s art a long with it.

$59.50 which included $9.50 for postage to the US. Â All the previous album sales have been at times which haven’t been so convenient for non-American buyers, so it was nice to see one posted at a good time for Aussie and European Melvins fans. Â Even nicer that it happened to be the Adam Jones one…Â
