The Book of Douche Bag. Vol 4. vs The Hunter

Things are pretty quiet in the Tool world at the moment, so in order to keep you clicking on my ads informed here’s the latest in the Book of Douche Bag series of videos from Puscifer:

I’m still surprised we don’t have Puscifer dates for the tour yet.  Hopefully soon!

Just in case that Puscifer video doesn’t do much for you, perhaps you’ll find the new Mastodon album The Hunter more to your liking:

Maynard is a douche, can’t understand how anyone would find these funny. He is and always will be an amazing lyricist and singer (TooL,APC) when working alongside creative and technical musicians. Safe to say if he hadn’t met Danny/Adam way back when he would be a nobody still wearing spandex and singing that C.A.D. shit with eddie murphy on bass.

What ads? *surfs the interwebz ad free* :p

Seriously though I am sick of these fucking Bob videos. Just release the damn Puscifer album, hurry up and get the touring done and get working on the new Tool album.

Mastodon = Epic goodness ….refraining from listening to the album preview. Rather wait for the CD to get here.

BTW – New Opeth is unfuckingbelievable. Better than good. Not quite as good as Watershed or Blackwater Park, but a damn fine album none the less.

It’s attitudes like that that kind of make me hope the next tool album isn’t released until 2013… or later.

Pull a Primus, Tool. Wait 11 years and push out an album that sounds roughly similar to what you put out 11 years ago. Make the whiners wander off and find other things to bitch about.

“correct me if I am wrong here guys, that the vast majority of us here would prefer a new Tool album to any side project. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.”
Im looking forward to the new Puscifer album more than Tool. I know a few people that feel the same.

I am just about equally excited for both of the albums, but new Puscifer is coming much sooner so I guess I belong to the minority here.

Doesn’t soften the blow to know that any new Tool music is being delayed due to Maynards ‘side’ projects. I would guess that the other 3 members are more than ready to lay down tracks.

Well I guess, but I’m not too sure that the WWF commitments aren’t playing havoc with the schedule and pulling in other Tool members taboot.

Puscifer sucks. That being said, there’s no evidence to suggest that it, or any other side project for that matter is cause for any delay in a new TOOL album. There’s nothing to suggest that there is any sort of delay anyway. This band has never operated I’m accord with any type of scedule or timetable. There are no guidlines for their creation process, no formula to their writing. Besides, the complexity of a single TOOL song alone is more creative then just about any whole album being released by anybother band today. These aren’t 3 minute songs in 4/4… Read more »

The time spent between albums is only a testament to the bands longevity and standing as masters of their craft.

Either that or their hesitancy and concern regarding their final album.

elusivEuphoria – 5 hours ago Then you should understand that Tool has never operated by any scheme or plan. They do what they want, when they want, for their own reasons. My point is the vast majority of Tool fans whine too much about wanting a new album. They act as though they deserve a new album. And those first couple posts, including yours, were in that same vein. Why complain? I am not stomping my feet like a petulant child demanding a fucking Tool album. I am simply stating that I think Maynard is largely to blame for the… Read more »

puscifer is dope, APC is awesome, Tool is marvelous. Old puscifer blows, but since the C is for… Ep maynard has really stepped up and made some great music with the puscifer crew. I am very excited for the new puscifer album. its gonna hve to hold me over until the new tool album. APC was disappointing in their setlist this past summer but still rocked. puscifer is almost surpassing them in terms of good music. depends on how this album turns out. If the Tool album doesnt drop till this time next year then I am fine with that… Read more »
