I received my email from the Puscifer mailing list just a little while ago, which confirmed the information from the recent promo video, as well as adding some venues to the mix. It has also been revealed that tickets go on sale on the 7th of October, and that there will be VIP tickets and Wine Tastings.
I have set up a new Puscifer Tour 2011 page to collate all relevant tour information. If anyone has any suggestions on what to add to the page, just let me know.
I love his choice of venue for Atlanta. The Cobb Energy Center is 10 minutes from my house!
I wonder what the “more mysterious Puscifer encounter” will be. Probably $350 to stand in the same room as Maynard while he looks at the wall inside a glass box. And they’ll sell out too.
Also, random question. Who the hell gave me this weird avatar and user title, and why? And how do I change it?
Awful venue for the Boston show…I’ve seen many great artists play at the Orpheum Theater, all of which sounded absolutely horrible there. Orpheum has turned me away from seeing some of my favorite bands play live again…hope that doesn’t happen with Maynard!
Thanks for the updates. I like that your site provides timely info about all of the Tool related projects.
Has anyone seen any ticket prices?
The email says “12 noon local time”. I wonder whose local time that refers to. If I’m not mistaken, ticketmaster sells tickets at one time and one time only and if you miss out you’re fucked. Anyone have more information?
Not necessarily true. I have seen tickets go on sale at 12 noon. Once tickets for NIN went on sale at 5 pm on friday. A co-worker and I were both, unbeknownst to the other, furiously trying to get tix when I looked over at her and asked why she was still working after 5 on a friday. LOL.
what were prices like the last go’round? did they also offer the sound check and wine+soundcheck then?
they had wine tastings and meet and greet tickets. the regular tickets were around $50 if im not mistaken and the meet and greets were around $220. not sure what the wine tastings were
we got the two night pass for Detroit last time, and it was $70.00 so $35.00 a night. Loraine was a little bit more.  I am really bummed they chose Royal Oak again though in Detroit. The neighborhood is good, parking is good, venue is what is not so good. It would be fine, but the seats are horrible. They are just cheap plastic folding chairs, and have no comfort factor. Let alone the fact that there is no where to put your shoulders.  It may not seem like much of an issue, but the night of the… Read more »
Lucky americans 🙁
YYEEESSSSSS!!!!!! I can’t wait to see them in SLC again, My Dad and My Grandpa both helped build this amazing venue, if you have a chance you should check it out. The Capitol Theater is the shit!!!! What happened to Milla Jovovich?
I’m actually a huge fan of SLC. Despite what most say/think, it’s fucking badass up there. I’ve lived up there a couple different times for the snow and I loved it.
Anyone going to the Philly show? Meet up?
Â
Pre and Post Party for the Atlanta show will be at mine and CJ29’s house. The venue is only 10 minutes from our house. No need for over priced wine tasting tickets when we can have our own tasting. I may even recruit the lead singer of Eulogy, our local TooL tribute band to play the part of disinterested Maynard.
local time = time zone of venue
ie if you’re on east coast buying tix to a west coast event, better add 3 hours.
Mesa Arts Center is the venue chosen for AZ, which happens to be a mile from my house. Perfect!
looks like tickets are about 50 to 80 bucks depending on venue and seat quality. That should be including all the fees.  My wife is with child (third) she is due Saturday so she doesn’t want to be away from him so soon. Only deal I could manage is that the whole family will make the trip to Detroit. They get to play in the Westin’s pool, and daddy goes and see’s PUSCIFER!!  Works out pretty good though. She is going to drop me off and pick me up at the venue. Not that she doesn’t trust me,… Read more »

^ That’s right on the (gr)Avatar, Gary (who doesn’t really suck, but that’s fucking funny…). If you’re not happy with the plug-in generated Avatar, get off yer lazy asses and make your own. Follow the helpful link GaryS provided, or check the Forum FAQ.
As far as the custom title, they can’t all be winners… what’s your suggestion? We’ll consider it. PM Hellboy or myself, or reply here.
(And please… Children of the Corn is pretty damn amusing too…)

Damn it all we need a northern California date. When are more dates going to announced? Does anyone know?
The prices for Atlanta are $27.50-$65.00. Found it on the cobb arts centre site no onsale time though.
On sale is at noon, friday.
Acoustically speaking, the Orpheum in LA is fine. However, I always feel packt like sardines in a crushd tin box whenever I’ve been there. All seats and very little room to move around.
I wish they’d have a GA section for this tour.
Sweet! Hopefully we can score seats in the same general area. Any suggestions on which section(s) are the best? I’ve never been to this venue and know nothing about it!
It’s a wonderful venue!! It only holds 2750, so there is not a bad seat in the house and the venue is fairly new. The seats are soft and comfy and the sound is crisp and clear. CJ29 and I saw Eddie Vedder there a few years ago. It was funny b/c they were using the metal wands on everyone as they entered. The staff is definitely not used to the “rock” crowd and this was their first rock show. The staff at the merch booth were used to the ballet crowd, so persistence and patience are required when procuring… Read more »
Kool… sounds like it’ll be better than Center Stage was last go-round! Thanks for the heads up about the merch booth too! I guess I’ll go w/ best available and hope for the best!
So, it’s shaping up to be a pretty epic week of live music in the ATL… Puscifer on Wednesday & Mastodon on Friday!
FUCKING STOKED!!!!
Definitely a great music week! FYI: tickets go on sale at 10am NOT noon!
Spoke to the people at BAM, tickets will be 58.50 plus fees for the NYC show.
Is that just your venue or everywhere?
hey, where are they selling tix? i have called the main ticketmaster number and they said they are not selling tix for this event. time is running out and i need to know where to get them from!! please help!!!
ON SALE UPDATE: I checked the TM website when i was home for lunch and did not see the Atlanta show on there. I just called the venue box office and they confirmed tickets will be available on ticketmaster at NOON.
I’m pretty sure I remember receiving an email stating 10am. Oh well….now that i’m an old lady I think I’m suffering from early CRS.
ok so where did you sign up to be on the mailing list? are you going to be there at 10 or at 12? CAN NOT wait. this is going to be awesome.
really?
puscifer.com and why would i be there at 10 when tix don’t go on sale until noon?
ok, smartass. you said that venue stated 12 and that an email stated 10.
and I put in bold the confirmed on sale time. and that’s sarcastic smartass to you mister. 8~P
Well I just called TM main office and they said they are definitely not selling tickets for the event in atlanta or knoxville. i don’t know what to do!
Put on your big boy underwear & READ. Took me all of two minutes to find this: “Adjusted tour dates & links comin soon. Later today. Still more dates 2 B announced. Grab a calendar & map. Identify the holes. Do the math.” Via Puscifer’s Twitter.
