The poster for the Tool Rivers Edge Festival show this weekend has been revealed on Toolband. Here you go!
There’s a Tool Army exclusive pic of an autographed version for those of you registered there. No word on how much the posters are yet, but they will be found at the merch stalls at the venue.
Adam just tweeted a pic of it too. It’s quite similar to Boston’s from earlier this year.
Toronto was first. then boston in reverse. this is just like toronto but the colours arent as good. i just framed my toronto signed poster last week. its up in the poster thread on this forum. this is just a lame version of the toronto poster..hehe
What an utterly disappointing gig poster.
It is disappointing to see the poster recycled, but I do like the colors.
I like some of Adam’s artwork but… his poster designs seem to get lamer every tour.
The silkscreen ones they had done by Print Mafia for those 2006 or 2007 dates were awesome, wish they would do more like that.

They really need to go back to commissioning actual poster artists, like EMEK, Jermaine, Slater, etc.
I like it, even if it is “recycled,” and I’d bet that image has something to do with the upcoming video for “The Pot.” Man in suit looking at his hand/arm…

What a bunch of bitches some of you are! I personally love this one and I think it’s better than the Boston and Toronto variants of the same art!! Would I love to see more tool posters from Emek or jermaine, hell yes! But I do agree that all the art seen this year will make more sense once the new album drops!

man, ive heard it all before. i bet the posters have nothing to do with the new album. hard to say i know but peeps look into tool stuff a lot. its cool to wonder though and all that so why not. usually it seems it gets a bit over cooked on that front though. enjoy the show for those that are going. and really i like adams artwork doodles. some suck but the toronto/boston/this show tonights poster is cool looking artwork imo. i didnt care for the 07 posters. id much rather have an adam doodle.
it reminds me of the dude from ‘ raiders of the lost ark’ when he grabs the medallian and burns his hand………

Enough bashing, anyone have an extra one? They sold out, tried to but the display but they wouldnt sell it. I’m willing to pay a small fortune or trade.
Only place atm I have seen the REMF is on Ebay 279$ for signed OBO. and 99$ for unsigned atm
