Adam has recently made a couple of comments (allegedly on Facebook but I couldn’t see them) in regards to fans having to wait for the new Tool album. He comments:
“To those of you who demand a new album from Tool: would you rather get something mediocre now, or something impressive later?”
“Truth is, we don’t write for you, we write for us — but we don’t share for us, we share for you.”
No doubt those quotes will create some debate amonst the Fourtheye community, so have at it! Thanks to Tiresais for the tip!
Update: turns out these comments were made on a fake Adam Jones Facebook page, which would explain why I couldn’t see them on the official one. Please go about your business!

So there are two Facebook accounts for “Adam Jones Tool” One says “official” after it. The account that posted this comment does not say “official”. I have no idea if Adam has two accounts or someone else made one. The comment made about the new album also says it was uploaded near Fussa, Tokyo so take that at what it is…
Give it time. The Maynard trolls will be putting their little twist on it. It’s alright when one of the other three make a comment similar to this, but let Maynard say it and all hell breaks loose.

Who knows. If it is true, kinda sad that after 6 years all they have is “mediocre”. It is going to be a long fucking time before the new Tool album comes out. I hope I am alive to hear it.
It would be cool if after the new album is released Tool were to share with us some of the demos of the mediocre stuff.

And also looking at his real facebook page he has a pic of him with a double neck electric. EDS 1275 maybe? If he is using this to write with and record it would be totally epic imo.

You know what would be awesome, but not likely? If they videotaped their recording process like Undertow. Would be cool to see the different set ups they use for recording, especially Adam since he takes the longest apparently.
