As hinted at on a Reddit post I was reading, Pigmy Love Circus (with Danny on drums in case you’ve forgotten!) are coming out of their drug induced coma and doing a gig in Los Angeles in August, and after a bit of searching I managed to come across this post for the gig:
The gig is happening at the Dragonfly in Los Angeles on Saturday the 4th of August. Support acts include Hollywood Hate, The Dimwits, Born To Drink, I, Mad Man, Gigbutt, Mark Curry, and Skulls & Bullets.
As I said it’s been a while between drinks for PLC, so get out there and see them!
That poster link is broken.
I don’t know what you’re talking about asshole. It’s fine.
Reddit = All lies
I want to go to the “Thirtieth Anniversary Fuckstravaganza”
Oh great! Another fucking distraction for the next Tool album. This thing is never going to get finished.
There’s no such thing as irresponsible drinking.
8/4 2012 WTF? 2 2012? I don’t get it.
Didn’t Blair say in one of those newsletters that Danny only drinks imported beer? What’s up the Budweiser? Such hypocrisy.
Time for you to stop posting. Use the forum is you want to post inane comments…
Going back to my original comment, there is a problem with that image it’ll only show up if you click on the broken image icon and go to the original page. I don’t know if this is a widespread problem, but it’s occurred on both devices that I’ve used and both times it was fixed by going to the original page.
A bit of digging?
Shit! I meant to say, a bit of searching?
I did plenty of searching!
Awesome poster. Who doesn’t love a good ol’ fuckstravaganza?
I must say, “The Power of Beef” is still one of the most surprising albums I’ve ever heard. The lyrics range from absolutely murderously psychotic (12 Gauge Kiss) to painful (Bad Luck). And Danny’s drumming is SICK, different than in Tool. Solely on that album they’re my second favorite Tool side band. I’d love to see them live someday.
^The Atlanta PLC/APC show in ….ummmm….03? I think? was awesome! That’s the night i got to meet Danny Fucking Carey. sweeeeeeet
Daaaang that’s awesome. APC should bring them as their opener whenever they tour again.
/\ Here’s to hoping that isn’t for a long, long time. The last Apc tour seemed stale and uninspired IMHO.
I’ll take a studio recording of By and down with some live tracks release over another tour. That jimmy Kimmel performance was ‘meh’ in a major way.
Tickets for this show are only $10! Wish I was in L.A. tonight.
