I did my usual Toolarmy visit this morning, and noticed Blair had posted an update, which alludes to some progress on the new Tool album (and tacos):
I went over to the loft a couple of days ago to find Danny in great spirits about the week’s writing sessions. Things went so well, in fact, that Tool’s drummer funded a 12-pack of crunchy tacos from Taco Bell for Thursday’s band lunch. Evidently all were reinvigorated after taking a small break the previous week (Danny going to Hawaii while Justin’s relatives were visiting from England), and indeed, upon close inspection, the second Dry-Erase board reflected this progress. (Sorry, no photos.)

What’s more important is the news that they are still writing. I have news from a source close to the band saying that the new album will be completed in May of 2024 and released by December of the same year. It’ll be here before you know it!

Ive encountered more rude smokers than leaf blowers, especially around families. So, cant really agree with that one.

As for the update, it is good news indeed. However, I find it hard to be positive when we still have no idea how close they are to hitting the studio. Writing has been seemingly going well for awhile. At least it is Tool news, rather than Puscifer or APC.

As far as Leaf Blowers, its what they BLOW into the air that is awful for you, but people tend not to have a problem with it for the very fact that it isn’t a politicized issue with idiotic commercials about it.
