In one of the more bizarre things I’ve seen recently, it appears Danny will be lending his voice to the coming animated comedy Free Birds:
(Beverly Hills, Calif.) June 5, 2013 – Relativity and Reel FX announced today that they have cast Hispanic radio personality Eddie ‘Piolin’ Sotelo (Ice Age: Continental Drift), drummer for the world-renowned rock band Tool Danny Carey and Australian actor Josh Lawson (The Campaign) as the newest voice over talent in their upcoming animated comedy Free Birds, helmed by Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears A Who!). The film is jointly produced and financed by Relativity and Reel FX and is set for wide theatrical release in 2D and 3D on November 1, 2013.

Not sure what part Danny will play in the movie, but his voice is not really one that springs to mind when I hear voice actor…
hmm, not overly bad to hear this. does make you wonder what the deal is with tool. i suppose adam saying years ago theirs a lot of disfuntion in this band id say tool is more of a ‘oh that tool think, ok’ not that thats new news. ‘ok lets go tour cause we still can and have a big audience. we dont really need to make new music’
ah well. new album hopefully will still be good when it comes out.
Danny will be a bit part, he’s not even listed on IMDB
