A couple of recent posts on the A Perfect Circle Facebook page revealed a few more details about their coming releases. Firstly, By And Down will streaming on Spin as well as available to radio stations on Monday.
Secondly, the live sets that are available as part of the limited box set Stone and Echo will also be released digitally:
After reading your comments, we’ve decided to make the audio and video from the now sold out box set, A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo available digitally on Nov. 26. There are a total of five digital releases being made available: Stone And Echo (DVD), Stone And Echo (audio), Mer De Noms Live (audio), Thirteenth Step Live (audio) and eMOTIVe Live (audio, and includes live versions of the band’s new song “By And Down” as well as the “Diary of a Madman/Lovesong” medley. We’ll post pre-order links as soon as they are available.
Not surprising, but still pretty nice. I’ll probably pick up the DVD. Maybe the live eMOTIVe album as well.
I’m sure it was planned all along. Maynard + Cashgrab go hand in hand nowdays.
How dare they make money selling their own stuff!
I am really glad they are planning to release the Show and DVD digitally. Now I can justify the expense, otherwise the box set would have sat in a closet somewhere. I don’t need any more stuff than I already have. Now a 10,000 days vinyl on the other hand…
