Blair has confirmed some rumoured Tool tour dates via Toolband this morning, with several dates being announced as part of the latest newsletter:
Tuesday, March 4: Spokane, WA @ Spokane Arena
Thursday, March 6: Portland, OR @ MODA CENTER
Friday, March 7: Eugene, OR @ Matthew Knight Arena
Sunday, March 9: Reno, NV @ Reno Event Center
Tuesday, March 11: San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic
He also advises that it seems likely further shows will be added, and VIP packages will be available as well. Tickets go on sale January 25th. No word on how extensive this tour will be, but as I’ve mentioned before from what I’ve heard it’ll be short and largely West Coast only.
Update: Word is a couple of these shows go on sale on Friday 24th instead of Saturday 25th. Please make sure you check with the ticket provider (largely Ticketmaster I think) to avoid disappointment!
Update 2: It looks like there will be presales of VIP tickets via Toolarmy and Toolband. Details below:
PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME ON-SALE DATES HAVE ALREADY CHANGED. As of now, Portland, Eugene and San Francisco will go on-sale on FRIDAY (24th).
Spokane and Reno on-sales will REMAIN on Saturday (25th).
We will do a very limited number of the VIP pack pre-sale for Portland, Eugene and San Francisco on Thursday (23rd). This will be on Toolarmy.com at 10:00am PST
and then on Toolband.com at 3:00pm PST.
Then we will do another small number of VIP pack pre-sales for Spokane and Reno on Friday (24th) at 10am PST on Toolarmy.com and 3pm PST on Toolband.com.
Then L.A., Phoenix, Texas, Mexico? Hmmm tempting if L.A. or phoenix (hell maybe even Tucson) gets something.
From what I’m hearing I think there is a very good chance AZ and TX will get shows.
It is on their way to Mexico 🙂 I sure hope so I have been dieing to see tool a 14th time.
Back to reno for me!!!!
Ticket master is showing that tickets will go on sale on Friday and not Saturday.
Or SF….or both…..?
DRURY, for both shows. Here’s the link
Sweet, I think I might be able to make the show in SF. Twill be my first major concert ever. 🙂
They’re doing presages on TA for VIP packages.
Does anyone know what the VIP packages entail?
Given that the tickets are on sale at the end of the week, my guess is that there won’t be any TA presales.
They’ve updated toolband and they are doing at presages 🙂
Yeah, saw that not long again. Looks like VIP tickets only though, so prepare to be gouged!
If it’s anything like the Austraila VIP packages during that tour i believe a meet and greet with Adam, sound check rehearsal toe of thing and some swag (show ticket not included)
Type* not toe stupid predictive text
Tool band confirmed what VIP package includes except for the price
In Seattle, Key Arena is open on March 5…and is just over halfway between Spokane and Portland. Just hoping here. Don’t want to be starting any rumors.
Don’t see the Portland show on ticketmaster today, anyone know if it goes on sale at 10 PST like the Eugene show?
Wondering the same thing. Any info on the Portland ticket sales?
In the same boat as I’m hoping to fly up for this show, Eugene, then hit SF, before heading back home to San Diego.
I don’t think it is on Ticketmaster. I think they do their own thing.
Just got an email that says NO SEATTLE SHOW WILL BE ADDED. See you guys in PDX.
I don’t know that the Portland venue uses Ticketmaster. They just changed the name of the venue, so it may be more difficult to find. I think they do their own ticketing there though.
They just added a second SF date on toolband.com. March 12, Bill Graham Civic.
fucking scalpers! Floor tix sold out so fast partly because of those assholes
anyone heard bad things about stubhub? I thought I heard someone on here a couple years back buying tickets off there that weren’t valid ones and they didn’t end up getting into the show
I’ve used StubHub a lot and have never had any problems. You’re covered by their “fan protect guarantee” so if the tickets are fake you call them and they will replace them with different ones.
good to know, thanks!
