During the tour someone posted in the forums that they ran into Danny and he said he was going to play at this. Guess he wasn’t lying. My “Tool is playing the last song of the night” guess is looking halfway good right now.

I’d like to point out that I don’t see any of danny’s electric drums set up, so that would decrease the chances of them playing a tool song.
Good catch. It could also mean they’re gonna play an older song though.

Danny has played with Puscifer before joining them for I believe 2 songs during their first show in LA. I remember Adam and Justin sitting on the stsge but going nowhere near a guitar. Let’s be honest if Tool were going to play at all they would’ve advertised it and put it in a bigger venue to keep the cash cow rolling.
It doesn’t seem likely given their penchant for filling stadiums these days but it would rip if they actually busted out a secret Tool theatre gig without the masturbatory laser & video show. Just the four dudes, a minimal stage setup and a few old numbers.
Well it is the band member Maynard’s actually friends with, and he has joined him for a Puscifer set.
I thought I should add to this that I’m keen for new Tool album… ?

Danny is sitting about 6 rows from the stage. Maynard and billy accompanied failure during their first song.
Just got back to our hotel.
Danny and Justin did play Sober as the second to last song of the night with Puscifer as the backing band. I was pretty far in section B so couldn’t tell if Adam was there but I don’t think he was.
Danny also played on Cuntry Boner, one other Puscifer song and GREEN JELLO made an appearance and they all did Three Little Pigs!
I’ll post a more detailed review of the show in the Tool forum.
Kanaduh was second row, I’m sure he’ll have some good memories of this one.
