Nothing to see here – Blair tells us about Danny buying a rare book. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that now all four Tool members seem to have a clear calendar we’ll see some real progress towards hitting the studio before the end of 2014.

I think the fact it posted so soon is because bmb finally had something happen that he was excited to convey. Honestly good for him after the last few years of being obliged to fill a page once a month with anything he can scrape up or manufacture. Or its an elaborate riddle and im the fool. Or both who cares.

Sorry to backtrack here… Who’s the lineup for Failure right now? I was reading about Troy Van Leeuwen today and remembered he was in Failure at some point. But he’s on tour with Queens right now yes?

Correct, Zwerewolf. He helped Josh and the band rock the hell out of the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City last Tuesday with Primus opening the show. We has 8th row seats. What a great concert and treasured keepsake ticket stub with having Maynard’s bud Tim back behind the kit for Primus. Troy is quite the talented dude that has so far managed to not get himself fired from QOTSA. Sure wish there was a line or two of substance about TOOL album progress, or even planned summer progress, from this latest newsletter.

@TOOL_Rules I would be most certainly interested to hear of new TOOL progress but it will get here when it gets here. As for the show you went to… I’ve seen primus live and they are completely amazing so I imagine with QOTSA it was a perfect night. As for Troy… very very very very talented musician. He and Josh seem to spend a lot of quality time together while on the road. I watched an interview where they were talking about how they trailer their motorcycles on the road and when they stop they go out for a ride…… Read more »
