Danny Carey has some new merchandise on his website, this being a basketball-style jersey:
Coming up with the design for DANNY’S latest shirt was somewhat of a no-brainer. What does the Tool drummer feel most comfortable wearing while performing shows? The answer, of course, being sports jerseys from his favorite teams (such as his beloved KU Jayhawks), with at other times tee shirts replete with esoteric symbolism.
The 918kiss original website offers a wide variety of online casino games to please the taste of every player and the prizes are amazing!
So, we combined these at times disparate elements to create a unique hybrid – a purple sports jersey with a few magickal touches. Thus, MERCH unveils the CAREY RHYTHM 93, a HIGH QUALITY CUSTOM MEN’S JERSEY to be worn or displayed in a frame.
CUSTOM MEN’S JERSEY, MADE IN GERMANY
POLYESTER ENGINEERED CLIMACOOL MESH
ORIGINAL DESIGN, T-NECK, AND K-TEX PATTERN
4 THREAD-OVERLOCK STITCH PATTERN TO ENSURE SUPERIOR STRENGTH AND DURABILITY
THERMAL SUBLIMATION – PRINT WON’T FADE OR DETERIORATE,
WHILE FABRIC REMAINS BREATHABLE
It’s an interesting bit of merch, and given Danny loves sport to too surprising to see one of these on the market. They cost $93 each or $156 if you want one signed by the great man. You can pre-order them on the Danny Carey website (they won’t be ready until December 8th).
Update: Pre-order before November the 3rd, and you can receive free shipping (US only) using the code RHYTHM
Don’t see how any sports fan who isn’t a Laker fan would buy this. What’s the significance of 93?
I’m not sure – it costs $93, but I doubt that’s it.
I don’t think too many would not buy one on the basis that it looks like a Lakers top, most people would buy it because it’s a Danny Carey one I’d imagine.
You’re not wrong. That’s why I specified “sports fans” though. The Lakers are usually strongly disliked by non fans.
On the flip side though, they are a national brand so my point may be moot.
Undertow was released in 1993…
93 (Thelema): The number 93 is of great significance in Thelema, a religious philosophy founded by English author and occultist Aleister Crowley in 1904 with the writing of The Book of the Law (also known as Liber AL vel Legis). The central philosophy of Thelema is in two phrases from Liber AL: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law” and “Love is the law, love under will.” The two primary terms in these statements are “Will” and “Love”, respectively. In the Greek language, they are Thelema (Will) and Agape (Love). Using the Greek technique of isopsephy,… Read more »
Which resulted in an honest to goodness chuckle. 🙂
Could be it indeed but I found another from Danny Carey’s wiki page which better fit to the “Rhythm” : “[…]The bass drums alone are 93 pounds each […]”…
Drums aren’t usually 93 pounds. In this case, the bass drums were manufactured to those specifications for magical significance.
I sent in an application to Tool to replace Justin, he’s holding them back, trust me I’m fuckin ogt. Wish me luck!- Satan
LOLS AngeLols LOLakers
Kobe should go out with a bang and blow out his knee while raping a 17 yo HS chick.
it was mentioned about the Thelema thing so i figured 93 had something to do with that but i didnt know what exactly so thanks for the info on what that is. why is a signed one 156 i wonder ? maybe their is a reason but since 93 already has it maybe 156 is just cause its 156. either way i dont like basketball so this doesnt interest me. cool for people that care about such things but a pre-sale might imply they think its going to sell a lot which i doubt but maybe its just cause CHRISTMAS… Read more »
156 is also related to Thelema.
Where’s the newsletter? It’s the last day of the month… Blair is fucking slacking…
It was deemed too scary to put out so he’s rewriting it… that probably means they project a release date for 2020 and that’s a scary thought… Happy Halloween everyone!

Larry David looks like shit in that picture!
“a pre-sale might imply they think its going to sell a lot”
It’s likely because they aren’t going to order many more than they get orders for.
