Maynard James Keenan Biography

It was supposed to be ready for his 50th, but it finally looks like the Maynard James Keenan biography (no longer an autobiography as initially thought) will finally see the light of day next fall. Presumably that’s a northern hemisphere fall, so probably around this time in 2016. That’s a fair way off for something I thought was pretty much done, but I am not wise to the ways of book publishing.

I enjoy a good (and even a bad) Rock n’ Roll biography, so am looking forward to it!

ok. so this is now a biography and not an autobiography? biographys suck. sounds like it based on other things she said in that paragraph as well. hmm.

I wonder if this will be like the book by Gene Simmons about his time with Kiss. Adam dressing like Hitler and calling Maynard a Jew, Danny snorting chunky rails off a strippers ass and Justin just trying to keep the peace……

Check out this interview. I have refrained from posting on this site to bitch about lack of progress on the new stuff (I love to read the posts and comments though, it’s like tool fan therapy) but the end of this interview really pissed me off…
