A couple of Instagram posts today with visitors to the Loft claiming they’ve had a live run through of the new Tool album (albeit without Maynard‘s vocals). Word seems to be that the album is instrumentally finished, but still waiting on Maynard’s additions (which is more or less what Adam indicated last week).
The good news is that someone thought to grab a short slice of one of the songs, which I present for your listening pleasure! It’s a pretty short and rough cut, but sounds like the heavy Tool we know and love.
Hopefully the lads can get into the studio sometime soon and give us an album this year.
