A Perfect Circle release Disillusioned video and announce James Iha replacement

In amongst all the Tool news (as well as me being away) I never got around to posting about the new A Perfect Circle video for their track Disillusioned.  The video follows a similar theme to the lyrics, and serves as an observation of societies obsession with electronic devices.

The band has also announced that James Iha will be sitting out the next tour due to commitments with the newly (mostly) reformed Smashing Pumpkins:

As you most likely have heard, James Iha’s original band, the Smashing Pumpkins, have announced a Summer tour that James will be taking part in. Because James will be busy gearing up for that tour he won’t be able to join us for our upcoming tour dates. James’ temporary replacement will be none other than our longtime friend and one of our favorite guitar players, Greg Edwards (Failure/Autolux). We want to reiterate that this is a temporary situation and James remains a part of A Perfect Circle.

Speaking of Failure, they happen to have a crowd funding campaign running for their next album.  If you’re a fan of their work, get on board and support them in their next endeavour!

I would think a nice tour with APC could easily fund an album.
