It was revealed a while back that A Perfect Circle would be releasing a cover of AC/DC‘s Dog Eat Dog for Record Store Day. The track is now available on Youtube for your discerning opinions.
Personally, I think it’s ok, but unlikely to be a track I return to with any regularity. I’m not really one who enjoys covers a great deal, and this one doesn’t really add much to the song except for a bit of the APC tone. Maynard’s vocals are pretty rocky though, and it’s one of the more aggressive recordings we’ve heard him in for a while.

(tongue in cheek) The real reason -T-O-O-L- album is taking so long? They’re doing an epic multimedia collaboration with the Netflix Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance project as well as the Elysian Shadows game in development. ha ha! I’m a dork! … seriously though … all 3 of those could drop in 2019! Epic!

He’s almost always “whinging†and/complaining. If you could go back and look at all his previous comments, replies, etc. you’d see a VAST majority are covered in some type negativity. What type of person pokes fun at genetic disorders that have zero relevance to the conversation at hand???
