A recent Instagram post from Tool reveals that Maynard James Keenan will be on the Joe Rogan Experience this Monday the 29th of July, and among other topics will be making some “long awaited announcements” which we can only assume refer to the new Tool album at this stage:
Of course, given the recent Puscifer post as well, maybe we’ll see an elaborate reveal of Maynard’s 2021 plans?
For those of you who don’t know Joe Rogan, he runs a podcast in which he discusses a range of topics including music, MMA, professional sports and drug taking. Maynard has appeared as a guest on this show a couple of times. You can find the show here: http://podcasts.joerogan.net/
Joe is well known for creating an open environment for interviewees to express themselves, and previous interviews with Maynard have always been interesting listens, with plenty of frank and insightful conversion between the two. Even without the promise of some Tool news, the show should still be worth your time.

From what I read there isn’t an exact time that the show is due to air, and Joe no longer streams live, so might need to play it be ear
Someone on reddit says the podcasts typically get posted at 7pm PST. They just posted the 10,000 Days cover on IG so hopefully MJK gives us some info on the podcast.
I would expect the title of the album tomorrow, plus maybe some pre-order info, and probably some Puscifer news as well.

Just saw a post on the Tool Army Facebook page that Tool now have an official YouTube page. I went and had a peek, no videos loaded as yet but I suspect there will be soon.
Makes sense, all the ‘reaction’ videos of tool songs are currently being copywrite claimed and taken off you tube.

The absolute worst. One Tool community posted one that was supposed to be “amazeballs†or some such, and it was obvious the reactor person was suppressing yawns throughout the song. By the way with all going on or about to go on in the Tool world, a thank you to this guy Hellboy for keeping us up to date. This site is great for relics like me who used to lurk on TDN for info and who despise social media. I’d really have no idea that anything was happening with this band otherwise.
