A quick update today from Tool land – guitar player Adam Jones gives us a quick lesson on how to play a section of Pnuema via Instagram. It’s a nice part, one I’ve attempted to play a few times with limited success, so looking forward to analysing it a bit over the coming days:

tbh the majority of Tool is easy to play. there are occasional songs (7empest) with ridiculous parts, but if you can get your head around the irregular meters, most songs aren’t technically difficult… imho, the mastery of what Adam does is timbral / tonal
