Hannah Sim, who was one half of Osseus Labyrint passed away recently, with Tool guitarist Adam Jones taking note in a recent Instagram post:
She and partner Mark Steger worked with Jones and Tool on the Schism video. They also joined them on the road for a couple of tours following Lateralus, including here in Australia in 2002. If you look closely, you can also see them in Men In Black 2.
they were unbelievable, surreal pantomime
They certainly made an impression on stage and hanging from the Boondall ceiling in ’02.
Hannah’s last name was “Sim”. Yes, I realize Adam spelled it wrong, too, then.
Thanks for the correction!
Kinda messed up to say but at least she got to listen to Fear Inoculum and The Witness. I don’t know what else to say. I deeply appreciate her contributions to the arts and entertainment. Spiral Out
Certainly rocked in Wellington on that tour – my first tool show; mind blowing:
The Grudge
Stinkfist
(-) Ions
Intolerance
Parabola
Sober
Schism
Eon Blue Apocalypse
H.
(First time since 1998)
Disposition
Reflection
Triad
Ænema
Lateralus
The best Tool show I’ve seen was the Adelaide leg of this tour. Great times
