I’m sure you’ve all heard the news by now, but recent reports from TMZ tell us that Danny Carey was arrested last night at the Kansas Airport following an alleged altercation with a staff member. Reports are unflattering to say the least, and Danny probably has some explaining to do.
On a more positive note, while in town Danny sat in with the Kansas University band during a recent basketball game:
I was actually pretty shocked to hear about this. Wild…
I really don’t take much from this to be completely honest. If this is the worst thing the guy has done in public, so be it. I’ll forgive him…for a signed drumhead.
I don’t think there’s anything especially bad happening here, though some of the reports of what he said during the altercation are quite disappointing. Not sure if that’s typical cop behaviour in the US, but their response seemed like a bit of an overreaction, but maybe Danny just pissed off the wrong guy.
I’ve seen worse, MUCH worse, behavior from Australian police. You’re living in a fascist state old boy. Getting arrested for just going out for a walk with prompt and altercation.
We don’t live in a fascist state, so please take your rubbish somewhere else
If this shit happened here we’d be we’d be in a civil war. Maybe this is why you guys had you guns taken away a few years ago. Enjoy your new Utopia.
What “shit”? The army being involved? The National Guard frequently get involved in domestic issues in the US, so not sure I understand the point you’re trying to make
This is very serious and charges are going to be filed.
Do you know something no one else does, or just speculating?
I’ve shook Danny’s hand before. Believe me, his 2 fingers could accidentally assault you. We know he’s got legal protection and I’m sure as a celebrity he gets “attacked” often.
That was a cool video! Thanks for sharing it here. “Move over rover and let Jimi take over!” 🙂
Leave Danny alone, the man in an international treasure.
Is this tour moving forward or will COVID kill it…?
Biden is making some sort of announcement tomorrow. We’ll see what that entails…it’s looking grim.
Seems it’s on. Got tickets, ready to go, and emails are coming out from the venue with reminders and COVID protocols. Bit nervous, yet plan to keep safe and enjoy seeing Tool again.
