There’s a great newish interview out with Aenima and Lateralus producer David Bottrill spoke with Joel Martin back in May this year. I’ve only just got around to listening to it, and can report it’s excellent discussion regarding two of Tool‘s finest albums, and well worth your time!
No more “when is the next record/tour/etc” speculation from this community. Wake up people. Have we all just grown old enough to resign ourselves to the fact that this band is heading into the sunset in the near future, and anything else from them is just icing on the cake? ✌🏻
I think mostly we think it’s far too soon to be speculating on an album. No doubt the band will tour again in 2023 (Danny has more or less confirmed this). If I had to speculate on where, I’d go with Japan/AU/NZ and US over summer
All I ask out of them is for some quality live recordings of EVERY damn song. Believe Danny mentioned we’re getting the live DVD from the Lateralus tour this year, take that for what it’s worth.
