New Shows, Chet Zar, Lustmord

A few items here that I’ve neglected to post in the last few days. Firstly two more Tool shows have been confirmed for the US Tour.  These are in Oklahoma City on the 29th of March and Southhaven on the 30th of March.  No details on pre-sales at this stage.  Here’s the list of confirmed dates so far: 2007 15 Mar Las Vegas NV US The Pearl    2007 16… Read More »New Shows, Chet Zar, Lustmord

Next Picture From the Stash….

Todays picture is not as exciting as the last few.  It’s a setup shot which shows the techs setting up Tool’s video screens.  Interesting, though as I said in my review, I’m not sure they got it 100% right.

Tool Interview on NZ TV

  • Tool

Jono tells me that New Zealand’s TV3 show Nightline will take some time off from its usual sheep-related programming and will be showing a Tool interview on Tuesday the 6th of February instead.  No details on who or what is in the interview, but I imagine it will be put up on the internet sometime afterwards.  Check out their website which has very little in the way of details!

New Poll: Who would you like to see reform?

This week, considering we’ve seen Rage Against the Machine and The Smashing Pumpkins announce reunion dates, I ask which band would you like to see reform.  In order to keep this list manageable, I’ve closed it from user submissions, and have also eliminated bands which would be unable due to deaths, ravages of time, I think suck, etc. Feel free to suggest any glaring omissions below….

Poll Results: Where are you from?

This week’s poll was pretty straight forward, and asked a pretty simple question.  Unsurprisingly most of you are either Australians or Americans.  Fourtheye is an Australian site, but is obviously proud to have so many readers from such a variety of countries. If you’re from somewhere not on the list, then feel free to say hello – I don’t care if it’s not in English! Here’s the results: USA 241… Read More »Poll Results: Where are you from?

Sydney Entertainment Centre 2007 Partial Bootleg

2L from alt.music.tool has posted a bootleg of the recent Tool show at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on the 24th of January, 2007.  The bootleg only contains the first four tracks (Stinkfist, 46&2, Jambi and Schism) but is of pretty high quality.  Here’s hoping the rest of the show is on the way. Download it here.

Foutheye Update

Another WordPress update came out recently, and I’m about to make the upgrade to Fourtheye. There will be a state of flux for around 20 minutes or so while I do the update. It should go smoothly in theory, but if you notice and strangeness at all then let me know. I’ll make a post when the upgrade process is complete. Hellboy Update: Update complete.  I can’t see any obvious… Read More »Foutheye Update

Concert Reviews

Plenty of you guys have asked if you can post reviews of the recent Australian Tool shows. To cater for this I’ve been looking for a suitable WordPress plugin to cope with this kind of stuff. Unfortunately the search has come up empty at the moment. I am happy to publish them, so I propose the following: Email me your review at [email protected] If your review is any good, I’ll… Read More »Concert Reviews

2 Pictures

I have two pictures for you mob to enjoy today. This first is a picture of Ryan‘s framed Signed Lateralus Vinyl. Ryan has devised some kind of clear frame so that it can be turned over when the mood suits. Nice one! The other picture is from my Big Day Out collection. Knock yourselves out!
