Maynard in Aussie Rolling Stone, BDO Tickets Update

I was wandering through the newsagent yesterday and noticed that the Australian Edition of Rolling Stone magazine has a feature this month on bands touring Australia this summer.  There was a short interview with Maynard there which really isn’t worth purchasing the magazine for. It really doesn’t cover anything we haven’t already read about in previous interviews.  It does mention that Maynard is hoping to visit the Magill Estate in… Read More »Maynard in Aussie Rolling Stone, BDO Tickets Update

BDO Timetable? Maynard in Wine Spectator, Merry ???

I found this post on the Big Day Out forums which shows the timetable for the New Zealand Big Day Out. As expected Tool are the last act to play, and have been allocated 90 minutes (9:00-10:30). Depending on how much time they decide to take in between songs, they should be able to fit in most of their current set. For those waiting at their keyboards to score some… Read More »BDO Timetable? Tour Poll Results

Last weeks poll asked who who you would prefer see Tool tour with again. This options ai gave were made up of artists Tool have toured with in the last couple of tours. I was somewhat surprised to see King Crimson win the poll. I knew they were popular amongst Tool fans but didn’t expect them to win the poll. I voted for Tomahawk based pretty much on the fact… Read More »Tour Poll Results

Lucky me….

If this trade doesn’t happen, and/or a mate of mine up… Read More »Lucky me….

Drummers Digest speaks to Danny

Drummers Digest have posted an interview with Danny. Not a bad interview, though it really doesn’t reveal much we don’t already know either: Danny: “The record companies are in trouble, it’s getting harder and harder to sell records. That was why we tried really hard to come up with a cool package that can’t be downloaded, that’s like a piece of art that people want to hold in their hands.… Read More »Drummers Digest speaks to Danny

Meetup 2007

See you there…. I perhaps should have added that it’s in Sydney, prior to the Tool show on the 24th of January….

Tool ready for Big Day Out

The Rock Radio have a brief interview with Danny where he talks about touring Australia: I just love touring down in Australia, it’s one of my favorite places. The people are always just so friendly and nice, and really into rock ‘n’ roll too. The weather’s always beautiful down there and the country’s nice also, and it’s one of the places that we haven’t been as much as a lot… Read More »Tool ready for Big Day Out
