Article Submission, Bandwidth, Chat

Just wanted to say a couple of worlds regarding submission of articles, and in particular, credit to contributors.  Here’s how my usual day goes: Check email, notice several comments to Fourtheye, which I read, and when I feel like it, respond to. Read emails with tip offs of articles, pictures, rumours, mp3s etc. Read Toolarmy, qucikly scanning the news and main boards, and usually doing a quick check for a… Read More »Article Submission, Bandwidth, Chat

Tool Interviews coming soon….

Blair posted on Toolband/Army that he spoke to Danny from Australia last night.  The promo tour seems to be going well, and Danny is expected back in LA tomorrow.  There were many interviews given, and Blair warned us that we should expect articles in Guitar World, Revolver and Modern Drummer, and no doubt there will be others.

Australian Listening Party

mattw on Toolnavy has come up with the goods again, this time transcribing Andrew Haug from Triple J’s thoughts on the new CD. The stream of the show can be found here, apparently this review can be found at around the 58 minute mark. “Now something that people might think I have held out, but I might as well drop the bombshell now… I was privileged enough to hear the… Read More »Australian Listening Party

Kabir confirms 10,000 Days

Kabir has posted on Toolshed that “A reliable source confirms that the title is ‘10,000 Days’”.  For those who don’t know, Kabir is a friend of Maynard, and is usually very reliable.  I know there’ll be plenty of doubters still, but as I’ve said before, I like it. The songs names I’m not so convinced with.  I’ve heard it suggested that these are working titles, and possibly not the real… Read More »Kabir confirms 10,000 Days

Fourtheye.net

I’m pleased to announce that the new domain https://www.fourtheye.net is now active! The old site will remain, and should stay current with all the latest posts, but I’d suggest you all update your bookmarks. Edit The old website will not remain! It seems there’s some issues between having both fourtheye.net and the subdomain fourtheye.speleorovers.org, so for the moment I’ve removed the fourtheye.speleorovers.org subdomain. Same goes for the RSS feed. Please… Read More »Fourtheye.net

New Tool Article

Darkmoogle has brought to my attention a new Tool article. I’m not 100% sure, but it looks like it’s from a magazine called Rock Sound, presumably a British mag since it mentions the Download Festival. There’s a scan of the article below, but in case you don’t feel like squinting: It confirms that 10,000 Days is the name of the CD Tracks include “Rosetta Stoned”, “Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman)” and… Read More »New Tool Article

Adam’s Myspace, Opinion, Toolshed

Adam’s Myspace has had an update in the last couple of days. The updates seem to be several photo’s taken from Adam’s days working in special effects. There appears to be some stuff from Jurassic Park and Nightmare on Elm Street. http://myspace.com/adamjonestv Also, just a couple of opinions regarding what’s happened the last few days: I posted about a rumoured Australian Tour a few days ago. While at this stage… Read More »Adam’s Myspace, Opinion, Toolshed

10,000 Days

Blair on Toolband/Army says: JUST IN CASE YOU’RE INTERESTED… The artwork for the upcoming Tool album is going to the separators/printers today, therefore it will eventually be leaked out that the name of the album is (drum roll…….) ‘ 10,000 days ‘ … so there it is. So there you have it. Is it a hoax? Who knows, sounds like a wierd name for a Tool CD to me, but… Read More »10,000 Days

Fourtheye.net

Just a quickie, I’m in the process of moving this site from it’s current location to a new one at https://www.fourtheye.net This will make navigation around the site a little easier, and may also allow me to give out a couple of @fourtheye.net email addresses to some of our more dedicated readers. While I’m not expecting any downtime, there may be a couple of teething issues in the next few… Read More »Fourtheye.net
