Danny Carey, Larry Lalonde, Matt Stone and Stewart Copeland

davidbowiedavidbowie from Reddit posted this video up from Youtube earlier today, which features a new jam with Danny, Larry Lalonde (Primus), Matt Stone (South Park) and Stewart Copeland (The Police). From what I understand the track is called Blotto Mondo and was recorded at Copeland’s house/studio. Danny contributes some percussion, including the triangle, in what is an interesting video:

Adam proposes to Korin on WWE

Adam loves wrestling, and it appears he also loves his girlfriend Korin, as he has recently proposed to her at a WWE wrestling event. Footage of the proposal can be found on the WWE website. For those unable to view it, Adam has a message displayed on the big screen, then got down on one knee while Korin accepted. Congratulations to the happy couple from everyone here at Fourtheye!

Tool January 2013 Newsletter released

Blair has crafted his January 2013 newsletter, and rather than esoteric ramblings, he lets us know about flaming dicks! And also some Tool stuff. For those who don’t feel like reading it (you should, it’s relatively short) he basically tells us there was a minor songwriting setback due to a Vespa injury, there should be several interviews with band members appearing in the press in the coming days (not sure… Read More »Tool January 2013 Newsletter released

Rumours abound of South American shows

Blair has hinted several times in newsletters that there may be some plans to get Tool down to South America. Today there seem to be rumours afoot on Twitter and Reddit that Tool will be playing in Caracas, Venezuela of all places. My Spanish is pretty rough, and I can’t find any real confirmation online, but I know news of Tool hitting this continent would go down very well with… Read More »Rumours abound of South American shows

John Ziegler from Volto! posted the recent Incitare review from Rhythm Magazine on his Facebook page today. He commented that while the specific released date was to be announced, it should be mid March. Hopefully this turns out to be true! Here’s the review:

Maynard discusses Puscifer and not Tool with Phoenix New Times

Gene sent me a link to a new interview with Maynard this morning, where he talks about mainly Puscifer, as well as the state of the recording industry: “The illusion is gone,” Keenan says. “There’s no longer blank checkbooks. I remember playing a show ages ago, where Helmet got offered a [record deal worth a] million dollars. Oh, my God! A million dollars. Of course, all that did was make… Read More »Maynard discusses Puscifer and not Tool with Phoenix New Times

Fourtheye Subscription Renewals

It turns out that last night was the 12 month anniversary of me starting subscriptions for Fourtheye, a move that has been very successful and comfortably supports the sites financial needs. Some of you subscribed for a 12 month period, and may have noticed that you have been billed for another 12 months (in the case of Gold Subscribers that amount would be $50). Subscription is supposed to be a… Read More »Fourtheye Subscription Renewals

Danny speaks in Rhythm Magazine

Danny is featured in an interview for the UK drum magazine Rhythm in the February 2013 issue, and he discusses a range of topics including that status of Tool’s new album. Here’s the meat of the article I expect most of you are interested in: What stage are you at in the writing process for the new Tool album? We have six or seven really good frameworks that we’re working… Read More »Danny speaks in Rhythm Magazine
