A Perfect Circle confirm West Coast Tour

According to a recent post on the Tool Hotline, it’s been confirmed in the Team Puscifer message boards that there will be a West Coast A Perfect Circle tour. No details have been announced in regards to dates and venues, or who will actually be in the band. It’s safe to say that Maynard, Billy and Josh Freese will be involved, but the rest of the bands makeup seems to… Read More »A Perfect Circle confirm West Coast Tour

Puscifer Remix, Toolshed Hits 15!

I forgot to mention in the August update that you can listen to a new remix of The Humbling River on the Puscifer site.  It’s the second track after Rocket Man.  Sounds good, but personally I’m ready for some new stuff rather than just remixes… Toolshed also had an update recently.  Not only have then just turned 15 (congratulations!) but Kabir spoke with Danny who confirmed Tool are back songwriting.… Read More »Puscifer Remix, Toolshed Hits 15!

August Updates

Here’s a bunch of news updates and things I’ve picked up of the last month but haven’t quite been motivated enough to create a new post for. In case you missed it, Justin Chancellor will be appearing on a couple of tracks on the new Intronaut album Valley of Smoke.  The album will be released on the 12th of October so Rodney tells me.  No word on what Justin plays… Read More »August Updates

New Fake Salival?

An email found it’s way into my inbox today carrying the following pictures for a Ultimate Edition of Tool’s Salival.  According to the packaging, it contains the usual Salival stuff, as well as the Vicarious, Schism and Parabola clips.  Funny that it mentions “Includes over 70 minutes” and then at the bottom says “duration: Approx. 58 min.” No word from Tool about this at all, so I imagine it’s extremely… Read More »New Fake Salival?

According to a leaked list of acts for the 2011 Soundwave Festival here in Australia, The Melvins will be joining the lineup. Other highlights for me include Primus, Queens Of The Stone Age, Slayer and High On Fire. If this is true, I’ll definitely be there. The official announcement is tonight, so keep your hats on! Update: Great news everybody: that leak has been confirmed as official!

A Perfect Social Network

A Perfect Circle have claimed a whole load of social networking pages recently, so it would appear that at least something is happening there.  No word on what it will be at this stage, but my guess would be a couple of live shows. For those interested, you can keep a track of them via the following avenues: Twitter Facebook Don’t forget that Fourtheye is also on Twitter and Facebook…

July Tool Newsletter

Blair has released the July 2010 Newsletter on Toolband, and it’s a short one.  It briefly discusses the tour, their plans to continue writing and a four seeded peanut: I reached into a bag of peanuts, grabbed a handful, and upon cracking open the FIRST ONE, was amazed to see that it contained four perfectly formed peanuts. Immediately it hit me that this was a most auspicious sign – a… Read More »July Tool Newsletter
