Lollapalooza Confirmed?

Blair made a cryptic post on Toolarmy today: Anyone besides Buzz, Junior and I see that blistering line drive of a foul ball the other night at Dodger Stadium that damn near postponed a certain tour? Easier just to buy one of the damn things. Speaking of baseball (which I love), in planning my… vacation, while in Chi-Town the second week in August (when the weather’s nice), I was hoping… Read More »Lollapalooza Confirmed?

Nagual Del JUDITH

Sorry about the lack of posts the last few days – been busy with a couple of guests staying with us at the moment. Maynard posted the other day to tell us about the latest Caduceus release: “I am standing on a metaphorical plateau.  The view from here suggests that I/we still have many mountains to negotiate.  It has already been a long journey.  But the successes and failures have… Read More »Nagual Del JUDITH

Golf with Maynard “totally worth it”

According to an article on Wired, Tool fan Thomas Mrzyglocki had a ball with Josh Freese as part of the $20 000 Since 1972 package.  Amongst other things he got to play Mini-Golf with Maynard: For the golf outing, Mrzyglocki and Freese were joined by Keenan, Joe Escalante (who plays bass in Freese’s punk rock band The Vandals), several friends and a cameraman who recorded the match for posterity. Famous… Read More »Golf with Maynard “totally worth it”

More Puscifer Posters on Ebay

Milla emailed me today to let me know that a couple more Autographed Puscifer posters from the Vegas shows are on Ebay.  For those with short memories, these posters were sold at the shows with the price being $300 for a set of three.

Tool/Melvins/Ipecac Rumour

I read an intriguing post on themelvins.net BBS today, which reads: Tool, Melvins, Ipecac Records Something HUGE soon.  Just wait.  It WILL be worth it you prepubecent derelicts.  Oh, and Melvins as a four-piece=BEST YET. Is the big suprise some kind of Tool/Melvins collaboration to be released on Ipecac?  Given the various record labels involved, this could go some way to explaining the delays in the surprise being released. The… Read More »Tool/Melvins/Ipecac Rumour

Yet Another Puscifer Review!

This time courtesy of Amateur Chemist, who still had some money leftover after having lunch with Josh Freese.  It’s a pretty cool review, and sounds like a good show all round, with Billy Howerdel and Josh Freese both making appearances, as well as the previously documented Danny Carey. Here’s a snippet: “Major Douche” made his usual appearance warning the audience “No flash photography or video was allowed!” I had heard… Read More »Yet Another Puscifer Review!

Cool Puscifer Pics

Patrick Surace has posted some awesome pictures from the recent LA Puscifer gigs up on his website.  There are pics of the whole tribe, including Maynard, Danny, Tim Alexander, Milla and much much more.  Well worth a visit!

Don’t Panic!

Toolband and Toolarmy seem to be down at the moment (23:25 AEST) and have been down for a little while now.  No inidication when they might be back up, or why they’re down.  Some might suggest they’re being upgraded, who knows… Update: woke up and it’s working again.  No changes.  Hooray for technology!

Trent Reznor Digg Dialogg

Took some time out tonight to watch the latest Digg Dialogg featuring Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor.  As well as much insight into his thoughts on the music industry, gaming and several other topics, one of the questions asked was in relation to the Tapeworm project featuring Maynard.  Trent’s response was essentially that the music wasn’t up to scratch (he rated it a 7/10 when he really would expect… Read More »Trent Reznor Digg Dialogg
