Tool March 2016 Newsletter

Blair has posted the March 2016 Tool Newsletter, and this month it recounts the life and death of a Pepsi cooler in the Loft. The status of the new album does get a bit of a mention though: After a short deliberation it was unanimously agreed by the band members – as a tribute to its many years of commendable service – to continue with the day’s session. Afterwards, there… Read More »Tool March 2016 Newsletter

Tool Tour 2016 shirts and posters

For those Tool tour poster collectors out there, take note that the Toolband store has had a range of these appear online in the last few days. There seem to be more shirts than posters (probably because the posters sell faster) so keep checking back, you may find the one you want appear in the future. Interview with APC photographer Sean Murphy

Christophe from Salival.fr contacted me today to let me know of an interesting interview he did with photographer Sean Murphy how capture Maynard James Keenan during his A Perfect Circle days. He talks about a few interesting APC and Tool related anecdotes. What was your impression of the Tool rehearsal space, the ‘sanctuary’ for many fans? The Tool rehearsal space was bad ass. Adam talks WWE with Rolling Stone

It’s a bit of a strange topic for an interview, but Rolling Stone spoke with Adam Jones recently about his love for Wrestling, and we get a very minor hint towards the new Tool album: Will you be attending WrestleMania 32 next month? Unfortunately, no – because it’s going to be epic. There’s going to be, like, 100,000 people there – the biggest sports entertainment crowd ever. You would be… Read More »Adam talks WWE with Rolling Stone

Tool February 2016 Newsletter

The February 2016 Tool newsletter is out, and it briefly discusses progress on the seemingly never-ending songwriting saga. Ultimately there isn’t much to report, but I’m sure there’s a few tidbits here and there for peopel to dig into. Also, there is a cool bug mask based on the posters from the recent tour: While Adam’s latest bleeding bugs didn’t go unnoticed by me, a recent photo taken at the… Read More »Tool February 2016 Newsletter

Puscifer playing in Europe

Looks like Puscifer will be getting over to Europe and taking part in the Nova Rock Festival in Austria on the 9th of June. Joining them on the day will be such greats as Korn, Billy Talent and Breaking Benjamin! I’d say it’s pretty likely more shows will be added, so stay tuned!
