Tool back catalog re-issues on the way?

Buzz and Mackie Osborne have featured on a recent episode of Making Ways: The Art of Music, during which Mackie confirms quite a few Tool re-issues are on the way. To paraphrase: I’m working on some really limited edition things for Tool, who are re-releasing all of their back catalog in a series of limited edition package. And they are also going to re-release their back catalog in kinda the… Read More »Tool back catalog re-issues on the way?

The final book in Blair Mackenzie Blake‘s trilogy Grumble’s Star (also including The Othering and The Paragon Junk) is out now for your reading pleasure! Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired coming in March 2023

  • Puscifer

I’d forgotten about the Puscifer Existential Reckoning remix album coming out in March, but I was reminded of it by a neat little video produced by Maynard’s daughter for the track A Singularity (Re-Imagined by Carina Round). Here’s a reminder of who’s on it: Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired offers a track-for-track re-imagining of the 12 songs from Existential Reckoning. Puscifer band members Mitchell and Round, along with current touring musicians Greg… Read More »Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired coming in March 2023

Hellboys Top 10 albums of 2022

Hellboys Top 10 albums of 2022

It’s New Years Day here in Oz, and what better way to celebrate than with a few tunes! Here’s my top 10 for 2022, in some vague semblance of order: Author & Punisher – Krüller Tristan Shone uses an array of hand crafted machinery to generate his beautiful industrial noise. Krüller is one of the best sounding Industrial albums in a year with many great releases for the genre. As… Read More »Hellboys Top 10 albums of 2022

Tool have announced their first date for 2023 – the Welcome to Rockville Festival in Florida during May.
