No Tool news here, but news that I’m sure will please many Tool fans: Nine Inch Nails have been announced as the headline act for next years Soundwave Festival. Â This festival, which has a bigger emphasis on metal/hard rock/punk bands travels all around Australia this year and in my opinion is likely to have a much better lineup than the Big Day Out. My mate Lachrymotion from Toolarmy is reluctantly selling his copy of the Signed Lateralus on Ebay. Â Current bidding puts it at US$89 but don’t be surprised if it goes for US$300+, especially considering it’s one that Adam has doodled on, rather than just a plain autograph.
Mad_Sweeny616 from Toolarmy posts that the mighty Pigmy Love Circus (featuring Danny on drums) will be playing with Killing Joke at the House of Blues (LA I presume) on the 9th of October. Â If you can, you should definitely go!
The Augustember edition of the Tool newsletter is now out on Toolband/Army, and as promised it largely talks about Danny & Blair’s recent trip to Maynard’s Vineyard. A somewhat interesting read but don’t expect much Tool insight.
