Fourtheye Beta Site

Hi Everyone, As you know I’ve been working on redesigning Fourtheye. Well, it’s been tough working on the new design on the current site, because there are various plugins, features and widgets I want to add and remove to the new one. As a result modifying the current Fourtheye page without breaking the existing themes can be a little tricky. So, to cope with this, I’ve created a Fourtheye Beta… Read More »Fourtheye Beta Site

It’s been so long now since Nude With Boots, the new Melvins album, was leaked onto the net, it’s hard to believe it still is yet to be released! Paiste Ocheltree Spirit of 2002 Bronze Snare Drum

From the slow news day division of Fourtheye comes an extremely expensive snare drum (US $2,133.43) made by Jeff Ocheltree, the same man who created Danny‘s drumkit from old Paiste Cymbals. This item, available on Ebay is one of only 500 made, so don’t miss out! Thanks to Venomous-voice for the tip.

Tool in Guitar Hero 4?

A usually reliable source told me over the weekend that Tool will be appearing in Guitar Hero 4, with the track Schism, Vicarious and Parabola available to play.  Apparently the graphics used during the songs will not be the usual seen in GH, but a conglomerate of Alex Grey artwork and the eyes from Lateralus and Aenima.  More details on this as they come to hand. Sounds like fun, but… Read More »Tool in Guitar Hero 4?

Mer De Noms Vinyl Re-issue

According to this article on Blend Music, vinyl is making a comeback, and EMI/Capitol will be re-issing it’s top 15 selling albums on vinyl in August. Amongst this list is A Perfect Circle’s Mer De Noms. Amongst the other releases are John Lennon’s Imagine, Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys and Beach Boy’s Pet Sounds. Vinyl collectors should keep their eyes peeled.

Tricky Tours Australia

Tool tour mate and Parabola star Tricky is coming down to Australia to do his Trip-hoppy type stuff, and as well as playing the Splendour in the Grass festival (which is sold out), he’ll be playing several dates in the Eastern Capitals. That’s right, as usual Adelaide and Perth miss out, and I’m not sure that NZ get any love either. Here’s the dates: JULY30 – The Metro, Sydney31 –… Read More »Tricky Tours Australia

Puscifer Email Update

A Puscifer email update went out overnight, and posts a message about the possibility of a Puscifer tour that we’re already familiar with: As promised, we’ve been reading through the many emails that came in following our first newsletter and the top question was “Will Puscifer tour and when?”  Puscifer will tour SOMEDAY. However, our sense of the extravagant and our commitment to quality and a unique experience prevents us… Read More »Puscifer Email Update

Upcoming Maintenance

I’ll be making a few changes to Fourtheye over the coming days, including the rollout of a new Theme, so don’t be surprised if you see a few strange happenings over the next week.

Rolling Stone Top 100, Mastodon Live

A couple of quick ones today.  Blair has advised us via Toolband/Army that Vicarious took the 100th spot in Rolling Stones recent Top 100 Guitar Songs list.  Why Vicarious beat a whole shitload of other Tool songs is bound to be a source of debate. Also, Blabbermouth are reporting that Fuse will be broadcasting Mastodon‘s set from Bonnaroo live on the web on Sunday evening US time (Monday morning for… Read More »Rolling Stone Top 100, Mastodon Live
